This is a fantastic pen especially if you like a thick
This is a fantastic pen especially if you like a thick, lush flow of the ink. Its an absolute pleasure to write with this pen. I love it because it doesn't have the "Scratchy" sound when put on paper. Any paper. And its unbelievably cheap. Like seriously unbelievable. Apart from all these features, the pen comes packed in an elegant box with ink refills as well as a pump refill which I am planning on using once I am done with the refills. This is an absolute joy to use. Note that because of the thick flow of ink, it consumes more ink than a typical pen. I used to have a Shaeffer pen that costs more than double but I palmed that off to my brother cause I want to use this one exclusively. Never thought I would write such a long review for a pen but this one deserved it :)

Disappointing and Useless pen
The ink flow is too bad. I have to shake the pen after writing 2-3 lines so that the ink comes back. The ink impression on the paper is too dull. There's no brightness in it.If there was a rating lower than 01 star I would have gone for it.I'll never buy Pierre Cardin pens again. Such a waste of money. It's lying in my drawer unused. If anyone is willing to pay the postal fee I'll ship it to him/her without any cost.

Pleasantly surprised....
Delivery - I ordered this pen yesterday, and I paid extra for faster delivery as I could not wait for its arrival due to so many positive reviews. Amazon kept the promise and delivered it with in 14 hrs.Packing -I am not at all disappointed, this pen arrived today and the box is classy matte black and bigger than shown in the picture. Pierre cardin logo is sitting proudly on the box. After opening the box you see the pierre cardin pen lying diagonally and wrapped in a transparent polythene cover. Box also contain 4 international cartridges and a converter.Build quality of Pen - I took the pen out of polythene and it felt a little heavy but not very heavy, I love the cigar shape of the pen and yes it does look like a Montblanc Meisterstuck 146. The nib on the Pen looks very nice and big, the overall feel of the pen capped or uncapped is very elegant and classy. Black color and gold rings are perfect combination, clip of the Pen is golden and springy, Pierre Cardin is engraved on the clip. The pen is shiny and looks much better in reality than in picture. Some reviewers wrote that outer coating of Pen started to come off after some time and Pen developed cracks at some points, I got this Pen today so I cannot say anything on this. But so far I am impressed and the build quality looks very decent.Grip – Pen is comfortable to hold and is sufficiently large for holding unposted. If you have big hand or fingers, you may post it and the Pen becomes bigger and a little bit heavier, but this is not such a big issue.Nib and Feed – The pen has a big two toned nib and a plastic feed. The nib has floral pattern and "Iridium Point" is engraved on it. I like big nibs and this nib is perfect and looks amazing.Writing – I didn’t use the cartridges supplied with the pack, I inked the pen with Camlin Royal Blue (I love this ink). I started to write and the pen was gliding on the paper, the nib on Pen is very smooth for the price. The nib is western medium so it may be a little broader from Indian standards. The nib may give you a very very little bit of feedback, but I love this because I am not very big fan of feathery smooth pens as I like to feel that I am writing. This nib is very smooth and has perfect combination of feedback and smoothness. I have a Pilot Metropolitan fountain pen (costed INR 1500) and this Pen writes way better than Pilot, trust me. The feed keeps up very well and flow of ink is amazing, this Pen is a wet writer and I love it. Very pleasant and smooth writing experience.Price – The Pen has cost of INR 340 and INR 100 extra as faster delivery charges. And I think this is a very reasonable price for a Pen this nice.Conclusion- I have been using fountain pens for quite some time, and I must admit that this pen writes equally well or better than some of the costlier pens. You cannot go wrong with this Pen, I congratulate Pierre Cardin for making a very nice and elegant fountain pen at this price point. I wish Camlin could do something like this. Anyway, I give a big thumbs up for this Pen so far, I don’t know how this Pen will do in long run. But in INR 340+delivery charges, I don’t mind if doesn’t last more than a year.

DISAPPOINTED
Pierre Cardin pens have been my favorite for past at least 30yrs. I bought the current one out of sheer nostalgia not realizing that it's a fake. The seller has been a typical cheap selling a fake Pierre Cardin pens. Plz see my photo. The inner clip came off with the pen. The golden ring near the hold area stuck inside this clip & has been quite stubborn in coming out of it despite best efforts. The smooth writing (signature of Pierre Cardin pens) is absent as it presents scratches. It requires toooooooooo much effort in deliberate writing to enable smoothness. Amazon will do well to distance itself from such morbid sellers. Following are the disappointing marks.Presentation - ***Value for money - *Writing Comfort - *Quality (plz see my photo) - *Notwithstanding the foregoing, Pierre Cardin pens are wonderful. Please go for them. But beware of such sellers dishing out fakes...

A great addition to any fountain pen lover
If anyone would like a good fountain pen under 500, I would suggest this. Writes like butter without any skips and pressure.Has a medium width nib and will provide a bit of shading with good quality ink. I am using the cartridge provided with the pen.Grip is good for small and medium hands. A well balanced pen weight wise.Looks is like a premium pen, worthy of the 400 spent.I would highly suggest this for any beginner fountain pen user and who would like to have a good medium nib fountain pen.

Terrible. Could be a fake
This might be a fake as per my opinion. The nib was way off the mark. Just too sloppy

Very bad quality that doesn't match price
Very bad quality. The color started peeling off at multiple places just in few days. The nib has also lost its fineness and has started writing in bold. Very much disappointed.

Performer!
From the very first uncap pen is smoothest an athlete performer. Not a single wave or shake needed for ink channel to pass the flow.Nib is big size. Gives manly experience.Cap is plastic but its ok. Body material doesn’t affect looks at all.(Don’t use cheap 100-200rs inks.)
