Some people do have concerns about the size, I’m 11 men’s and these fit perfectly. Toe box is sufficiently wide, good fit around the ankles. Very lightweight and extremely comfortable.

Replacing a well worn and well loved pair of Timberland low top hikers. I find the 2650 to have a great balance of sturdy construction, stable footbed and cutting edge materials. I looked at many of the available options in the trail sneaker, approach shoe and low top hiker markets. I found the sock-like fit of many of the trail shoes too slippy, with my foot sliding around (on say, the Adidas Terrex hiker, for example). I also found this amore comfortable shoe that several of the approach options (like the Five Tennies 5 10). Took me a couple of exchanges to get the fit I needed. Normally I wear an 9.5 is everyday shoes but this fit more like a sneaker and I had to size up to a 10. I also chose the WIDE option (even thought I don't generally need to in other shoes). The result: super grippy, super comfortable and very stable. With my old pair I could also count on water resistance, not an option in a 2650 low top. I hope to trade that for better breathability, and while the shoe had plenty of air channels, I am not seeing as much airflow as I would have expected. Walking is fine (pushing air in and out) but if you find yourself sitting around, you might find that your feet get hot, as mine did. Overall a small gripe. Feel very confident getting out on the trail / scrambling, etc. in these. Hope the prove to be durable, as well as comfortable.

Hiked through a canyon and across light water. Feet stayed dry and comfortable and no slipping on wet rocks. Rey impressed with cushion and grip. Great shoe for medium hikes with possible mud and water!!

I recently purchased a pair of these trail shoes and they far exceed expectations. Outstanding comfort yet sturdy. Also attractive.

Shoe is nice and comfortable would be good for lite hiking but I honestly bought them for work. Great to walk all day in but may be a little light for anything more then a day hike. Get a size up as they run small and are narrower then expected I had to buy a 13 EE wide and I normally wear a 12 regular

I like that the construction of the shoe it’s a great boot. I bought in two pairs already this pair unfortunately didn’t work for me. They were too wide. I put them on in the carpet and then put it back in the box. I got to send them back.

I wanted very much to like this shoe but after weeks of walking around inside I noted my foot turned inward. The arch and inner support did not suit my stride. As a result , had to return. Overall a shoe that would have suited a trip walking around Portugal well as a one shoe do it all option. If the support is improved I’d definitely revisit Danner Trail 2650. Shoe does run narrow……go wide.

Color is great. Fit was perfect. Very lightweight but an excellent sole. Overall very pleased with these hiking shoes.

An excellent shoe and very comfortable if you get the right size! Danner manufacture to a differnt size spec than most EU and UK companies. E.G. Danner US 9.5 is sized as equivalent to UK 9 and EUR 43.5. It is worth bearing in mind when ordering Danner shoes that you are better getting a half size bigger than your shoe size. Most European and UK manufacturers size their UK 8.5 and EUR 42.5 as being equivalent to US 9.5
