Well documented and highly readable.
With the declassification of military documents on UFOs, this book becomes increasingly important. When Fowler was in the military, he was assigned to investigate UFOs. He continued his research upon entering civilian life. The incident in this book is well researched by highly qualified authorities. The story is true.Betty Andreasson was abducted by aliens in the 1960s, and her daughter, Becky, witnessed some of the contact. Neither remembered the incident but were profoundly influenced by dreams and other feelings. Through hypnosis, the Andreasson's were able to unlock their memories, and Betty's data was not only surprising but in line with the experience of others who had also been abducted. Hers was the most complete recollection. The aliens subjected Betty to an examination and a visit to a strange environment not of this Earth. She was told that the aliens, these little gray guys with the huge almond eyes, wanted to help humanity and the planet to survive. At last we get a reason for their actions. Greed is killing the planet and us. They told Betty we already know the answer to our survival.Yes, we've heard the answer all our lives, today and in the past. But now we're at the brink of extinction, and we all need to pay attention. Some of us are. A lot of us are. This is a page turner. It was first published in the 1970s and was republished in 2015. I recall in the past how our sheriff, the newspaper boy, my mother and niece, and a dairyman, along with his panicked cows, in separate incidents, saw a UFO. With what we are told and with our own experiences, I can't help but think the type of contact Betty experienced is not so rare as one would initially think.

I liked the story.
I found the first version of this book in a drift store more than two decades ago and I loved it, it’s so terrifying and intriguing at the same time, and it was my first real introduction to the topic just beginning to be mainstreamed at that time. Although the book was scuffed and had old brown pages, I kept if for future read and reference. Several years ago I loaned it and it disappeared forever, that is why I bought this updated version. I preferred the first version of this book because it was more complete in the human saga with the extraterrestrials, although the misfortune of the loss of her son was very, very sad. The last part of the book had a better closing because it had more content rather than a brief updates to what transcribed in their lives since then. I suppose this last part had aspects geared more towards researchers or experiencers looking for common threads. Still, it is a very riveting story and I’m glad that I found the book again and that the story is still being retold and not forgotten. The kindle version of this book, is also good because you can amplify the drawings and get a better take to what the protagonist tries to describe, so it’s helpful.Tesserae

The resercher does a great job of follow-up and stating facts
I got this as the person who was abducted was a Christian. I believe the information in the book is genuine. I appreciate the narrator's methodology and speaking. I wish someone would do some comparative research and publish some comparative in-depth research on this case and the Betty and Bary Hill Case. It would be good to know if the same group of Aliens executed the abduction in both cases.

Almost unbelievable!
Over The Top Story ! This book arrived about 4 or so days ago. I had no idea it existed until I saw it on Amazon. Piqued my interest as true encounters usually do. I have to say, this is the MOST far out, crazy bookI have ever read on any encounters of any kinds of any degrees. ItIs very , very difficult to believe, and yet....... it sounds contrived , made up, a fiction , an imagination run totally amok or an unstable person, people. So absolutely contrived and the brain can't process it, and looks for a way of figuring out the truth, however that's impossible unless one was there, and/or had a very, very similar experience. I have put it down for awhile, because it is that scary! I will try to read it again when I'm not so stunned and in a less busy time of year, Christmas, etc, other obligations and so on. I am very interested in knowing what other people think of it, so if you have an extra few minutes, please, please let me know your take on it. Bazaar ! Dear God, I hope and pray it's greatly exaggerated !

Easy read. Enjoyable.
Just finished the book. Only took two days, so it's an enjoyable read. Her reality of interacting with aliens must have been a monumental thing to wrap her head around once the memories were unlocked... That having been said, this book does an admirable job capturing not only what happened but the essence of the emotions resulting from what she saw and experienced. The fact that the author created this book out of actual sessions with her under hypnosis goes a long way to add an air of credibility to the whole thing. She sounds like a regular woman, salt-of-the-earth type, who had an extraordinary experience. I'm not sure how brave most people would be in her situation. Whether you believe the account as having actually happened or not, it is still an easy read and worth considering if you are interested in catching a glimpse of the more spiritual agenda our alien neighbors have been tasked with.

Excellent research
The book if one is to gain sufficient insight into the motives of the ETs, so this book is a shining example of how other researchers should present new material.

Great book to introduce reader to classic alien abduction experiences
If you like books about alien abductions and close encounters of the fourth kind then you should start with this one. Fascinating case of Betty Andreasson and you will become a believer. There is a little bit of practical investigating and her transcript of her under hypnosis recalling her abduction experience. Great read.

An Extremely Tripped-Out Adventure
There are books on alien abductions and then there is 'The Andreasson Affair'. This is such a wacked-out and truly remarkable story that the only way to deal with it, is to believe the entire book. It is highly original and makes the last moments of 2001 A Space Odyssey look as if it isn't trying hard enough to be weird by comparison. It's a highly and detailed story regarding an abduction from the late seventies,in America. The entire book attempts to understand the abduction scenario of one lady from a family one night. It's very well written but the abduction is so strange to describe that you should, if you are interested, just buy the book and read it. I've read a lot of alien abduction and UFO books but this one stands out as being of the highest strangeness details. It's deeply fascinating and highly enjoyable.

Its not the best book of its kind
Fascinating abduction account, although we do not see through a lot of the alien deceptions. The account is taken at face value. Its not the best book of its kind, but still a good read.

Well written and very interesting. I shall have to hunt down this UFO investigator, and authors' other book titles to read.
