This dog bed seems to be working well for our 65 lb. lab cross. We are using it to hold his fluffy, pillow-type bed up off the tile floor so that it doesn't get saturated with condensation. We've had the bed for a couple of weeks and it seems to be meeting our need. I am giving this product a 4 star rating due to the difficulty that we had in assembling it initially. The angle of the middle support bar makes it tricky to install at the end of the assemble process as instructed. We had to partially disassemble the frame and use an unexpected amount of force in order to fit it all together properly. All in all, we are happy with the Pawhut Elevated Dog Bed.

I ordered this truly for the price. I priced out making the same style bed myself using metal conduit or PVC and I couldn't acquire the materials for the frame alone for under $35; and that didn't include the fabric costs. When I saw this, I was skeptical about the likely quality but figured if the frame itself was decent, I could always make the replacement fabric cot. I was totally impressed when mine arrived! After reading the reviews, I thought it would be pretty spindly, but instead, it's a decent quality frame. The fabric is also decent quality nylon and mesh, pretty much the same as is used for backpacks and tents. The quality of the stitching on it seems good. I've been a seamstress all my life so I won't be bothered by the fabric or mesh if/when they fail because I can personally make a new replacement. For my Border Collies, this is a great bed. For the money, this is a great bed. If you can sew, just the frame is worth the price. Regarding complaints of how hard it goes together, that's overstated. It is simple to assemble but takes some good hand grip strength because the fabric is a very tight fit, which it needs to be both to support the dog, but also to help keep the frame stable. If you don't have strong hand/arm strength, you may need someone to help you assemble it, but the actual way it goes together is utterly simplistic.

We bought this for our 2 Scottish terriers, who spend the occasional afternoon in a large pen in our kitchen, which has a tile floor. We wanted something elevated and easier to clean when/if pee got on it. This has worked out nicely as both dogs will fit comfortably on it at the same time. The only down side is that the fabric has to be stretched so tight that it's difficult to put together, especially if you're older and a little arthritic. It would be absolutely perfect if it was easier to take apart and put back together. Then we could pack it and it would travel with us when the dogs can go.

My dogs love their new beds. I add a slight cushion to them for indoors. They are pitbulls and have destroyed every other bed. These have lasted almost 6 months so far. I'm a happy mama.

The first bed we received was missing 5 of 17 parts so we had to return that one and place a second order, which was disappointing and caused additional work to rebox and take to nearest shipper 6 miles away. The replacement bed was exactly the same except for the color as our first choice was not available. All parts for the second bed were included and it went together fairly easily. It seems to be made well and sits level. We threw one of the dogs' thick blankets over it and one dog is on it often. The other is warming to it slower. We have it in the house now, but plan to put it outside on days the weather is sunnier and warmer. It's hard to evaluate since it is so new, but since Amazon allows updates to reviews, we can re-assess over time.

I have 2 small dogs that I love dearly and a new couch that I'm trying to keep fur free. I bought this elevated dog bed and my dogs are drawn to it like bees to honey. It's ventilated, so they are able to stay cool in the summer. In the winter I lay a blanket on top so they can cuddle up and get warm. They prefer this bed to all their other dog beds for one simple reason. It's elevated.I have one semi-blind, semi-def, 12 year old Shih Tzu and he gets up and down easily.I like this style because it's easy to clean. I vacuum the top, then flip it over and vacuum the bottom. That gets the bulk of the fur. You can take it apart if you wish to run it through the washing machine. I will probably do that once a year.My dogs thank you too. Woof WoofPhoto to come in the next few weeks.

I bought this a few months ago. I was very pleased with it when I had it indoors. The first time that I took it outdoors and my dog was on his own, he chewed the corners apart. I would like to buy the bed again, minus the legs but don't know if that is possible. The dog likes the bed and overall I am pleased with it..Bottom line- if you have a chewer and destroyer, the dog should not be left alone with the bed. He never did it when we were watching him in the house.

My boyfriend and i were super excited about this when we seen it online couldnt wait for it to be delivered and couldn't think of a better idea than a dog cot. I talked about it everyday puppy knew exactly what it was when i got the box in the house. "New bed" Peace of mind for me and my 2 year old puppy to be able to have a comfortable place to lay during the days when were not home. We are confident he wont tear it up he has always torn up pillows and blankets in the past but has always behaved with a carpet and the floor. Very breathable material and comfortable he loves it!! thank you
