Best fly traps ever!!!
These are the best things I have ever bought, I have a huge fly problem this year there was hundreds of them in my kitchen and conservatory within 2 hours the sticky tapes were full of flies but I don’t see any flying around as they get stuck almost straight away, they not the nicest to look at but so so worth the buy, they are so sticky flys and other insects don’t stand a chance, really good quality and so easy to fit

“ Effective Fly Control, but Sticky Cleanup”
The Fly Paper Fly Strips (16 Pack) are effective and definitely do what they claim—they catch flies really well and work both indoors and outdoors. However, the sticky residue they leave behind can be quite hard to clean up, which is frustrating. They’re good for quick fly control, but the cleanup is something to keep in mind. Decent product overall!🪰

I've used these for ages, look here for advice
For this product to work you can't put it at the window. It should be out in the middle of the room where the flies tend to go in circles.Be VERY slow when unfurling it as it can tear or come out of the base and then you'll either have to put a big paper clip at the bottom or something you're willing to throw away.Additionally, for the stickiness in your hands what you have to do is after you put the product up, rub oil on your hands vigorously. Then wash that off with dish soap and bang! No sticky fingers. To collect it you should pick it up like dog poo, if you just try to throw it in the trash as it is, it will stick everywhere and it will be extra disgusting to pick it back up lol.Only qualm I have is that it doesn't work on the big fat flies. Apparently they're not smart enough to figure out a window but they are crafty enough to not fly near this thing, go figure. Thankfully since they like to sit on the window glass, my dog can get them and show me the body to hide the evidence hehe

A bit awkward
They work really well but get tangled easily and are hard to secure in place. Also being so sticky they’re a bit annoying to put up as they get stuck on everything

Sticky, messy, paper breaks, red ribbon detaches from paper
The "no mess" claim is a bit of a joke. I tried to unroll two, and with both the paper tore in multiple places, and the ribbon used for hanging it detached from the paper. There's a lot of sticky glue on these which went all over my hands, and created strings between my hands and the paper. Total mess. Maybe with a lot of luck and patience I might be able to get one to work, but I'm nervous about it going near anything I care about e.g. if it touched the walls I expect I'd need to redecorate afterwards.

I really dislike flies! I know they are necessary for the planet . . . But aaahh!
As I said, for me, flies are the downside of summer. Our street is surrounded by trees, where flies seem to like to hang out. Also in our house. This year has been the worst I’ve ever known, as it’s been so damp, humid and murky. There are more than ever!I find them particularly annoying when I’m trying to cook / bake. They are so determined (and brilliant) at landing on some piece of food . . . Just two seconds after I’ve placed it on the work top! So I have to have numerous net food coverings as I’m preparing eg a cake. I’ve tried closing the windows and spraying before hand, but they are determined survivors! And I’ve been losing.I haven’t used this type of kit for many years; but out of desperation, have resorted to the old tried and tested sticky strips method to try to fight back a little. The strips arrived just two hours ago. I immediately hung one up. Already there are ten dead flies on it! I really don’t like killing anything; but since they seem to have had the upper hand this year, am much relieved!Maybe I’ll go back to a bit of spraying next year.Excellent product. Fairly easy to tie up. VERY EFFECTIVE!Many thanks! 😜🥂🥂🥂

Horrible
I bought these two years ago but never felt the need to use them until this year. Due to the heatwave I noticed a huge increase in gnats and they are so difficult to see so remembered I’d still got these fly strips. I only used one and I won’t be using anymore. Firstly the sticky stuff goes everywhere, even removing the cap doesn’t spare you from getting that stuff on your fingers, and not to mention it’s so difficult to remove off the skin. I had nowhere to hang the strip from so taped the ribbon bit to the underside of a high cupboard, needless to say it kept falling off, which meant more sticky stuff on fingers. In the end I gave up but couldn’t find a safe way of disposing as the strip sticks to anything and everything! Having forced it into a disposable bag (and even more sticky stuff on fingers) I then had the arduous task of getting the sticky stuff off my hands/fingers, and trust me when I say soap and water does not work as suggested by the seller. So, a little tip for those who find themselves in a ‘sticky’ situation like I was, nail varnish remover works a treat! You’ll have to tolerate cotton wool fluff all over your hands initially but it gets the horrible residue off your hands. I won’t be using the rest of the fly strips, think I’ll just invest in a more alternative and cleaner method.
