Lumex Walkabout Lite Rollator – Lightweight 14.5 lb. Rolling Walker with Seat for Seniors, Pink

This is an amazing rollator for the price. Sturdy, rolls beautifully, seat is ok comfy, wheels are a light gray color (much nicer than black), locking brakes work great, light enough to handle (14 lbs.). Secondly, it is NOT ANYTHING like the color shown in the picture. That color (which is what drew me to the walker in the first place) was a light aqua. The color we actually got is almost exactly the same as the blue on a package of Wet Ones Wipes. Not awful, but certainly NOT LIGHT AQUA. We've decided to live with it. But now I wish we'd gotten emerald green. Wonder why its so hard for sellers to get the color right in the ads. So, you take your chances on color with Graham-Field. Overall, we are very happy, and we recommend this walker highly. Color is a guessing game, but overall quality is there. A fun walker.

I ended up returning this and choosing the Nova walker, only because it was slightly smaller in width and a bit quieter. However, with that preface... This walker is great!! It rolls very smoothly, has a wide seat and great back support. It has hand brakes both for walking, and locking so when you sit down it will not move. The handles are easy to grasp and have a slight texture for your grip. There are no holes in the back of the handles if you wanted to put streamers in (like I do :). The basket is a good size, 16x10x5 and has a ridge in the middle so if you put rolling items in, they won't roll side to side. It is a wire basket so you can also get a bike basket liner which doubles as a tote bag when you remove it. Convenient if you transport the walker much, as when it folds up you need to remove the basket- which is easy, it just has handles it rests on. Setup is easy, and walker is lightweight. As mentioned in my preface, the width and depth are slightly larger than the Nova rolling walker (don't know the dimensions) but it is not big nor bulky, it is an average size. It was just my personal preference. It can be lifted with one hand, generally speaking, but probably takes two to fold it up and lift it. Lightweight tho! I ordered the pink, and it is exactly as the picture depicts. It is a true pink, not a light shade- more towards a hot pink, but not neon or anything- very nice color. The bar for back support is black metal as is the cushion for the back and seat. The rest of teh metal is the pink color. It was fairly quiet. It just rattled some as I rolled on our hardwood floors. It's not loud, but it was enough that I noticed. I did have everything tightly assembled. Most people wouldn't even notice. I just have a lot of antennas up for detail ;). This is an excellent walker and I would highly reccomend it. Again, it was simply personal preference for me to choose another but I still give this five stars. Also, I have asked owner questions, and the response is phenomenal. So knewnyou have that too when deciding if this is the rollator for you. Keep calm and walk on!! PS you can get accessories too, like fuzzy seat and bar covers, reflective stickers, horns, additional baskets, hanging pouches, cup and tray holders- so this is a one stop for those of us that need a loyal friend to walk with, and lean on for support. Or just want to add some bling to your walker :).

I have Copd and asthma. Real bad. Its hard for me to get out and do things because i run out of breath so fast and have to stop and it takes me awhile to catch my breath and be able to go again. Well we noticed that i do better in stores when i have a cart to push and lean on so when we saw this we decided to give it a try. Its awsome. Im not very big and i wish it was a little more narrow but it does help and i can just sit down and rest when i need to because it has a built in seat and a basket i can put my purse and my nebulizer in. And its a real oritty lavender color. They have alot of colors you can choose though. I would highly recomend this. My husband has back trouble so we may get him one just for when his back goes out on him. It rolls so you dont have to pick it up after every step. And it was here like two days after i orderd it. Its awsome for real.

My mother absolutely loves this walker. I bought this replace a standard walker which I had put wheels on. It served its purpose but once I added a tray to it omg the banging and rattling drove me insane. I could hear her all over the house. This walker is whisper quiet and she doesn’t need a tray because of the basket. She also uses the seat to transport items around the house. Speaking of which, she loves the chair. She tires easily and it’s nice for her to have a place to sit and take a break. She is unable to use the hand brakes though becaus of her arthritis. She just doesn’t have enough hand strength. I find it very difficult to get into my car; to close the walker you have to flip up the seat and remove the basket. Seat must remain in the upright position in order to collapse the walker. The handles cannot be folded down so if you have a small car (like my Saturn Sc2 Coupe) it’s really a struggle to get it in the back seat. Forget about putting it in the trunk. It doesn’t fit in my husband’s trunk either. Then you have to wrangle it out of the car and open it up. Then you remember the basket is still in the dining room. 🤦‍♀️ Pros: Whisper quiet wheels (great for wood floors) Maneuvers easily, even in small spaces Adjustable height handles Flip top seat with basket underneath Seat is cushioned and is a good height for short people Cons: Brakes are hard for older people to use especially if they have arthritis Does not break down enough for transport Heavier than a standard walker Handles don’t fold down for easy stowing Won’t fit in trunk (because of the handles)

The Rollator is great. We got a Lavendar one for my mom. It's so nice to be able to have some individuality in color besides just black or silver. Unfortunately, we didn't quite size it right. I'm 5'2" and if I sit all the way back on the seat I can barely touch my toes on the ground. My mom is 5 ft and can not touch the ground when sitting all the way back on the seat or towards the front of the seat. If you're under 5'2" I'd really suggest you look into one of the Junior Rollators unless you have exceptionally long legs for your height. Unfortunately they seem to be pricier and have less color choices currently available on Amazon. The seat is a comfortable width. It was easy to assemble with no tools needed. The seat flips up to allow you to easily remove the basket. Brakes seem to only work when squeezing, would be nice to have a lock option that would allow you not to have to keep squeezing.

I'm an expert on walkers and rollators as I have so many. I was having difficulty with a regular walker when I went to my chemo treatments and my doctors. I decided to purchase another rollator to place in the car. I knew it would have to be light enough for me to place in my back seat as I go by myself and it is all up to me. This one is perfect. It is light enough for me to place behind the seat of my Ford Fusion. It is so much easier to walk with outside!! My mother has the same one for inside the house and I have another more expensive one for inside. This Lumex is just as nice as my more expensive one. As far as color, I have gotten many compliments on this pink one. People say it is so much better than the dull, common colors. And, it is more visible when crossing streets so it is safer. Love my pink rollator!!

I LOVE this walker! I have 4 herniated discs in my back and I can't walk upright, I have to lean forward. This walker is perfect for my height and I use my forearms to steer it while I'm walking. I know that's not the correct use, but it totally works for me! The breaks are awesome for keeping it still and in place while I'm sitting. It stops my baby grandsons from walking away with it! I HIGHLY recommend this product.

Zoom, zoom ! This is perfect for anyone with balance/mobility issues. You feel secure and safe. If you are 6 ft tall the handles may not adjust high enough for you. When you measure, the height of the handle should be at your wrist. The seat is 21"H X 14"W, padded and comfortable. The storage basket is removable, as is the backrest. It is easy to fold up and fits in the back seat of a car. Lightweight, and almost effortless to manuever. It has been a life-changer for me and has expanded my mobity horizon tremendously. The lavender color is a nice touch, very pleasing. I highly recommend this rollator !
