Fits FlexVolt dcs575
Works great on dcs575 FlexVolt saw. The adapter has an opening for the dust chute so that the chute will still work with out a dust collection vacuum hose fitted on. When I use the hose I like to tape over the chute opening if I'm not using a powerful vac and the dust collection works even better. It would be nice if there were a cover that could be slid open and closed. I mostly use a cordless dewalt vac and that's when I use tape over the opening. Fits on to the saw easily although the drawing in the instructions shows a locating tab and the illustration isn't accurate but it's easy to figure out. Look at the saw port and look at the inside of the plastic parts that fit onto the saw and it explains it's self. There are 2 plastic screws (ph2) that clamp the 2 parts of the adapter together. One of the installation screws is only accessible from the battery port side and is better accessible with an angle drive or a ¼" bit-ratchet but I was able to install mine with a normal screwdriver handle well enough by driving with the bit at an angle in the screw recess and additional pressure into the screw recess. The part is abs plastic and seems durable enough but could be cold welded with acetone if it ever breaks. It comes with an additional lower guard lever which must be installed for the lower guard to work with the adapter as the adapter protrudes enough on the side that it is in the path of the stock guard lever. The guard lever that comes with he adapter looks just like the stock one except has a bend to angle the tab out away from the adapter. and is easy to change out with a t-25 or with a slotted bit screwdriver. The guard levers are stamped steel but are hardened and are very tough. I tried to alter the angle of the one that came with the adapter slightly with pliers but was un-successfull. It could possibly be done with a vise but the angle is fine as is. I hope this is helpful.

Perfect fit for my DCS570B Dewalt 20V 7.25" Battery Powered Circular Saw.
LONG STORY SHORT:When looking for a dust collection adapter for my "DEWALT 20V MAX 7-1/4-Inch Circular Saw with Brake, Tool Only, Cordless (DCS570B)" it was really difficult to figure out IF there was even adapter for it. THIS ADAPTER FITS even if it's not listed as one of the saw options in the description. Works great!PROS:-Fits perfectly on my DCS570B circular saw. No issues, gaps, jerry rigging....it was made for this saw as well, it's just not listed as one of them.-Ribbing/Ridges on the back of the port connect great with my Cen-Tec adapter system (as shown in photo). Holds them on tight.-Side port allows for dust to shoot downward instead of backward...if not using dust collection. Making the saw still function as originally designed.CONS:-Figuring out what (IF ANY) dust collection adapter would work with my DeWALT circular saw was a chore. It's not listed as one of the "options" in this description, nor is Dewalt's website helpful in the matter. I had to make an educated guess based on information I'd seen...and it worked out.-I wish there was a little sliding door on the side vent, so you could close it, when you're connected to a dust collection system. Not that it really seems to make a big difference, but it's hard to tell, and would be a nice option. However...any moving parts and pieces are liable to break...which is probably why they didn't bother.CONCLUSION:Buy. Fits perfectly on my DeWALT cordless DCS570B circular saw, and is incredibly effective (with my Cen-Tec system) in greatly reducing the amount of dust in my woodshop.

Worked great
Does a decent job keeping sawdust at bay. Doesn’t catch everything with the open circular saw as you’d expect. Fitment was great on my dewalt saw. Vacuum hose fits right up to it as well.

BEWARE 2021 DESIGN CHANGED, DOESN'T FIT DEWALT FLEXVOLT 60V 7-1/4" CIRCULAR SAW (DCS578)
I hope this finds all 2021 and 2022 Dewalt Flexvolt 60V 7-1/4" circular saw (DCS578) owners looking to buy this product.UPDATE: I took a dremel to it and got it to fit. It's a simple cut/grind it to match the curvature of the upper blade guard. Attaching it to the actual blade guard is a bit of a pain. You have to screw the sides together before installation unless you have a very short offset phillips. There's less room than a standard 1/4" hex bit's length. The screw by the dust port needs to be fully screwed in and the further one half screwed in. Spread it apart wide enough to get the pin and the dust port tab to seat and press it down. Then finish screwing in the upper screw. It ends up being a secure fit and don't forsee it moving. The Dewalt DWE575DC at some point in time must've fit the DCS578. I know this based on the older reviews as well as the shape of the product pictures. I received one with a code of "2021 19-47-52". So at some point Dewalt had redesigned the product without changing the product number. As you can see in my pictures, there is a major change in the back plate vs the product pictures. The tab style as well as the flaring has changed. Because of these changes, it does not fit the DCS578. The tab location has been moved and will interfere with the gear case assembly. The old style back plate also had a flare that followed the contour of the gear case. It also has a tighter curvature to it which interferes. For the cost of $11, I think I'll try taking a dremel to it. I will lose the tab and rely on the front pin and the 2 housing screws to hold it onto the saw.
