Great Product!
I have never written a product review and take the reviews for a product with a grain of salt. However, after our trip this past June to Surry, Maine and Ogunquit, Maine where water temps ranged from 45 degrees to 55 degrees...well, I had to give my feedback on these wet suits for my 4 year old and 7 year old. First, size guide/chart is helpful and accurate. I purchased the suits based on the manufactured size recommendations. The suits are durable and well made! I am very impressed with the quality. And most importantly, they do what they were intended to do. Both of my children swam in those frigid Maine waters and were not cold. No blue lips or chattering teeth...in fact they swam for hours at a time. Parents and grandparents at the beach thought the wet suits were amazing and a great idea. When I would unzip the wetsuits the heat coming off their body and the inside of the wetsuit was unbelievable. Wet suits should let a small amount of water in between the suit and the body. Your body temp warms the water and that is what keeps you warm....great product! Highly recommend! Makes a Maine vacation so much more enjoyable for everyone!

Sizing is off...
This suit appears to be well constructed, though the sizing is off; the length does not correspond with the upper body proportions. My daughter is average height for a 7 year old, so I purchased the size 8. The length barely covers her legs (veering on almost too short), but the upper body was made for a tiny bodybuilder - no joke. I am well versed in how a wetsuit should fit (very snug), since I'm a surfer. You don't want a baggy upper body - it will take on water and make the child cold. The manufacturer needs to adjust their patterns and add a few inches (at least 2-4) to the length to make it a realistic size 8. I almost bought the 6, but was concerned it would be too short (and I was right). Rather than return it, since we purchased it for a trip this week, I will have her wear a long-sleeved rash guard underneath to hopefully keep her torso warm. As she outgrows the length, we will just cut off the legs and make it into a spring suit. In my opinion, the length is size 6, and the width is more like size 8-9.

warm so far and good fit
I purchased this for myself using my husband's account. I am a smaller woman (almost 5'5" and 118 lbs). The youth 16 fits well. I have a small chest size (32") and waist (26"). After looking at the size chart and from personal experience, I tried the youth 16 since women's sizes are often too big. I would like it to be a little tighter but a youth 14 would be too short. This is the first wet suit I've ever been in, and while I have read that water is still supposed to get in, it seems like a lot of water but I have nothing to compare it to. I purchased it to swim in an inground unheated pool this fall. The water temp is 70-72 and so far and it has kept me warm. I will update as the water temp goes down. I am usually a whimp in the cold so I am happy to be able to keep swimming into the fall with this wetsuit.

Wonderful Wetsuit !!!
This wetsuit is good for my son's swimming classes . We went to the YMCA to have a swimming class every weekend. You know in winter in Wisconsin , although there is heat in the swimming pool, but the water is still cold for the kids , I am trying to buy a wetsuit for him to wear , and this one fits him perfect ! It surprised me that this price can buy such a good quality one. My son is 5 years old and we chose the size 6, which fit him perfectly. It is soft and warm . My son likes it very much. Last Saturday , he had been wearing it in the swimming pool , he played in the water for a long time and he did not feel cold any more . This is our first time to buy the wetsuit , we are happy for this one. The kids grow very fast , and I think we will buy another one , HEVTO is a good brand , we strongly recommend !!!!!!! ( I am sorry we can not take phonesin the YMCA, no photos shown ) .

Stylish & Sizing chart was accurate.
We live in Southern California. The ocean is cold here in spring and early summer. Got this for my 12 year old daughter. The sizing chart was accurate. Fit well. My daughter already used it on trips to Catalina and Newport Beach in early June. The only kid in the day camp to bring a wet suit. The only kid to play in the water all day. The other kids who were brave enough to go in complained immediately, didn't immerse themselves, and left the water early. My daughter swam and boogie boarded to her heart's content. She liked the color and style, even after having seen the famous brand names.Local sporting goods shops had only brand name wet suits in stock starting at double the cost of this one and going up to six times the price. For sure those brands are stylish and are made with better materials and workmanship, but this suit looked good on my child for a fraction of the price. She'll outgrow it in six months, so am glad we got this instead. I didn't measure, but I'm doubting that the material is actually 3mm. I use a Body Glove 5mm and in comparison this brand seems to skimp a bit on the material thickness (just a feeling, not a measurement) and quality, but it kept her warm. When she outgrows this one, will consider a larger size from the same brand. Maybe she can switch to Rip Curl, O'Neill or Body Glove, etc. when she stops growing, but for now, the brand names are too pricey for a rapidly growing child.

Great quality, runs small
I bought two for my youngest kids, and they absolutely loved them!!! One kid is 4 and one is 6, I ordered the size 8 because other reviews said they ran small. I’m so glad I did! They were perfect! And very good quality.

Perfect for keeping a kid warm while swimming!
My 7yo is very skinny and can barely stay in the pool even during the summer because he gets so cold - lips turn blue, teeth chattering, etc. So I bought this before we headed to a hotel with indoor water parks where we would be playing for several days. He wore it happily and never got cold! I even gave him the option of skipping it once because we weren’t going to be in the water long but he insisted on wearing it! It was tricky to find a suit that fit him due to his size and height but it’s better to be toght enough and too short than not right enough.

Men? Or kids?
I thought I bought the youth size, but it says men… confusing… I am a small woman so I bought the youth size. It is good and fits me except around back and chest. There are a bit of space.
