Made installing deck rails a breeze
I let me wife talk me into building a 400 square foot deck instead of hiring someone else to do it. One of the things I wasn't looking forward to was installing the rails after I had installed the deck boards. I built my deck out of Brazilian Tigerwood and this stuff is so dense that I had to pre-drill every hole before I could install the screws. Not to mention this stuff was crazy expensive and hard to cut, I didn't want to cut any more wood than I needed to. These anchors allowed me the flexibility to put the railing just where I wanted to without having to use standard posts with a 2 x 4 cut through my deck boards. I put a 4 x 4 block of wood underneath where I mounted these and drilled the screws threw them and they are just as sturdy today as they were several years ago when I installed them. Definitely saved me a lot of time. I highly recommend these.

Great Product!
First, I only surface mount posts as a last resort as it's not the most secure method. When it's been necessary to surface mount, in the past I've never really found really strong mounts that didn't give the post some unacceptable flex. After searching online I just found these TITAN Post Anchors and used them to mount cedar posts, covered by AZEK composite sleeves on a covered porch. They worked great; extremely solid and secure. The TITAN Anchors are absolutely worth the extra money and time. I'll be using these whenever needed in the future.

Best post anchor for “on-surface” post mounting!
Best anchor for “on-surface” post mounting. Was hesitant about purchasing this product at first (due to price and frustration from the failure of other products) but it is definitely a solid anchor. Follow the instructions and the Installation won’t be difficult. Sturdiness is about a 9 out of 10, if installed correctly you will not be disappointed. If you are a DIYer like myself, do some research (watch some YouTube videos), buy any tools you may need, and follow the instructions. Also, you can find this product on other websites for about $24, so if you have a big project it might save you some money to do a quick google search.

Amazingly strong
Love this product which made anchoring a 4/4 post to the deck so much easier. No need to mess around with cutouts or lag screws to attach to the joists, and these things are SOLID. I had no problem drilling the hole with a Forstner bit and pounding in with a 3 lb hammer. My only criticism--and what keeps me from giving it 5 stars--is the cheap black anchor screws included. They're Robertson (square) heads and even being *extremely" careful and drilling pilot holes it's virtually impossible to drive them all the way into the deck without stripping the heads. Shame they didn't include higher quality and Torx head given the amount of force and slight angle necessary to drive in these screws for a tight fit.

Great Product
I did a home remodel and used these to install a new railing system with a cable wire system and I get compliments every time someone new sees them in person! They are def above code and probably stronger then what I had replaced with their anchor lag screws!

Get ready to beat the double hockey sticks out of these!
Getting them seated was much more difficult than I ever expected it could be, even after drilling the receiving slots. Mine are installed on concrete so they feel fairly solid. Leveling screws would be a nice addition, so I added them to one of the post that was on a slope. For the money I hope these hold up well. But there has got to be a better way.

Totally awesome! Home inspector couldn't believe how solid they were ...
Created a RIDICULOUSLY SOLID fence post on a concrete slab. Beware that you need some serious hole-saw depth to drill-out the hollow female portion this pounds into. I put a TREX sheath over my fence post ... the sheath was quite loose around my 4x4, but I made a bunch of wood shims and hammered them down in between the fencepost and the synthetic sheath. This enabled me to tweak the sheath for square. Totally awesome! Home inspector couldn't believe how solid they were on. Would definitely buy them if I needed them again!
