Sioux Chief Female Cleanout Test Plug, 3.5"

Worked but difficult to seal into cast iron clean out. Works fine on new service.

Product states it's 3.5;" however, when I measure it shows 3.75." I needed a 3.5" plug.

Not installed yet, hospitalized for appendicitis and kidney blockage. Appears to be excellent quality looks identical to 4" purchased to replace house plug. 3.5" purchase to replace center plug adjacent to laundry sink.

3.5" was claimed but it was actually a larger 3.75" in diameter size so it won't fit on the 3.5" inner diameter hole that I have for the cleanout canister for the tub. Also, the picture was 3 years old, I found out from the manufacturer. Had to return it and buy another one from another supplier that the manufacturer recommended, that had the ability to supply one that fits better, namely a Sioux Chief 882-EB320 that has a diameter for 3.378" which is closer to the 3.5" specification I need. 3.5" Clean Test Plug

I had a drain cleanout plug with the threads stripped and needed something to put in its place without hiring a plumber to replace the section of pipe or rethread it. The plug dimensions matched exactly as I had it measured and it fit right in and sealed the opening without a lot of expense or trouble.

Nice fit.. Sealed in my stanky basement floor drain.

Like others, I bought thinking this was for a 3 1/2” ID Hole. My bad, it’s 4” in diameter. I’d like to see who figured it would fit in a 3 1/2” hole. Now I’m out another 2 weeks while I try to find a solution.
