Great for traveling
I took these on a 12 day vacation and used about 1 a day, sometimes 2 if the clothes were especially dirty. I used them in the sink, but would highly recommend using these with a dry bag instead. (Fill the dry bag with clothes, then water, then this soap. Close and swish and move the bag to make the clothes clean through friction. Then dump the soapy water out, fill with clean water and and rinse. Hang on clotheslines to dry).

Very handy little packets!
Pros:There is a lot of quantity in this considering each pack has 3 packets!Works great when traveling or when hand washing things in the tub (like wool sweaters!)Smells greatCons:No matter what I put in the sink with this, it turned the water brown. Even clean professionally laundered clothes! Not sure if it is a chemical reaction or what but it made me empty the water between every single item so I used a lot more than I should have had to use.Verdict: Invaluable travel item.

Great for traveling!
These packs are so much better for doing a bit of laundry while traveling than bringing a small amount of liquid detergent which usually leaks. After a quick swish and a soak ( which may not be necessary but I do it anyway) clothes look and smell clean.

packet issue durable you cannot get it open by tearing
They are a great idea for travel but are near impossible to open without a scissors or cutter both of which are prohibited for flying. They need to relook the packet to see how it can be opened more easily, and still be durable enough to withstand the rigors of travel.

Indispensable for Foreign Travel
This was far more useful than I thought it would be. We recently made a 3 week trip to the United Kingdom, hopping around the country, and staying in multiple hotels. Packing lightly was a necessity. Every night we washed out our shirts, socks and undies, hanging them to dry on cheap plastic hangers we'd brought with us. Having these little sink packs of Tide was easy and convenient. One pack usually washed out 2 shirts, 2 socks, 1 undershirt and 2-3 undies. A word of advice: polyester, microfiber, nylon, silk and non-cotton clothing dry the fastest...especially if they're rolled up in towels to squeeze out the excess moisture before hanging. Cotton clothing was more a challenge and sometimes needed extra drying with the hair dryer. Bring clothespins to clip the socks etc. to the hangers. There were NO clothes lines over the tub and almost NO shower rods. The Premiere Inn chain had shower rods most of the time. So creative hanging is a must. These Tide sink packs sure beat lugging bottles of anything.

Inaccurate listing
The webpage said I was to get 12 packets and I only received 1.

Cruise necessity
Awesome little Tide packets. A must for any long cruise without self service laundry. We cruised for 35 days and did laundry in our room a few times with these great little packs. They don’t take up much room to travel with and worked perfectly. There is a fair bit of packaging for those concerned about that but there are very convenient for the occasional use.

Does the job, but at a price
Rather expensive for what you get, but much more convenient to pack than a bottle of liquid detergent. Each packet is good for one sink full of dirty laundry, while the product is pricey you have to compare that to the rip-off rate charged by hotels for laundry service. When we travel we normally are on the road for 3-4 weeks at a time and carrying enough fresh clothing to last the entire trip without winding up smelling like a horse is not practical.
