Tajín Habanero Seasoning 1.6 oz

Better than regular tajin. I expected much more heat than it actually has, so unfortunately this small shaker will probably go very quickly.Lots of things benefit from a sprinkle of tajin, just be aware that not everyone is familiar with the chili lime powder and you might get some funny looks. Usually once they have been introduced to the condiment you may have to pry the bottle away from them. If you already enjoy regular tajin, you'll likely do just fine with the habanero variety. Just a little more heat and it's more of a cumulative effect. As in, not much heat at first but if you keep sprinkling and eating it'll eventually get exciting for your mouth. Not even close to real hot sauce, just a good tingling warmth. I am saving this bottle for more savory foods, the regular tajin I'll keep using for fruits and stuff.

great flavor. Not very hot, but more perk and less salt than base flavor. keep in purse for anytime use--- its FODMAP and GLUTEN safe so its the rare thing I can use to add flavor-- and its really good. But the bottles are too small! I want to buy in larger amounts for use at home and out and about.

I absolutely love the original seasoning, however this one does not have the same flavor profile as the original. In other words I had hoped it would be a spicy version of the first, but it's not the lime flavor just isn't there. When you mix the two, then you have a winner.

Just okay...maybe i got an old batch or something but the trader joes chili lime seasoning i was using is way better. The Tajin tastes almost dusty and stale and the salt doesnt seem like its dispersed evenly in the container or something. The trader joes has a better chili taste and more lime taste which i like and i know it seems weird but the salt seems way more consistent with the trader joes, maybe cause its finer or something. Doesnt taste any different than the regular Tajin either.

ACTUALLY SPICY! It’s not mind blowingly “hot” but it’ll give you a kick when you need it. (For the record I love spicy foods and have no issues with a fresh habanero) For those with less tolerance, it may pack too much punch.Used it as a rimmer for a spicy margarita and it was perfect. Try using an orange slice to rim the glass for a different take on the flavor. *I added a photo to show the size. It is teeny. For the price I’d expect a full size bottle - but this isn’t the easiest to find so I’ll live!

Was a bit disappointed in this one. Bought it after trying the "regular" style so I could add a little more heat. Not very hot at all, despite having the color of habanero in the mix. Couldn't tell much difference from the basic tajin.

First, this bottle is kind of tiny, 1.6 oz, but that being said, at $3 and some change its probably the best price out there online right now. Its a little spicier but don’t expect the same level of sour as regular tajin. They had Pineapple, oranges and other sweet and sour fruit in mind when they made this. But you can add powdered lime juice or citric acid, or just get the original bottle and blend with the habanero for sweeter fruits. It’s a good for something different.

I was super excited to try this. It didn’t disappoint. I just wish a bigger option was sold. It’s very tiny and the price for its size it what will keep me from buying it again even though I love it. It was worth it for a one time purchase.

I’ve been addicted to the Mexican tajin seasoning ever since I discovered it so I wanted to try this when I saw that amazon sold this spicier version. To be honest I’m a little disappointed. It such a tiny bottle for the price! Yes it does have a hint of spice in it but I think I prefer the original version which is slightly more tangy and saltier. This just doesn’t live up to the price nor name! Just buy the original TAJIN!

I am addicted to this stuff, I've never eaten more fruit in my life! Pay attention to the size though (I didn't but it's at least very portable!).

It tastes great, it’s smaller than I realised, guess i had not read how many grams it is - I wouldn’t have paid £4 for it. But now that I’ve tasted it I’ll buy it again ... it’s worth the high price

Received the product on time. I did not find it spicy hence the 4 stars. There are larger sizes available for the original tajin spice salt. The price is definitely on the steep side and it didn't step up to my expectation.

More spicy than the original, but great taste. Love this on mango.
