JVC HAEBR80S Sports Clip Headphones (Silver), One Size

I bought these to replace my  Motorola SF200 Sports Headphones . They perform the same functions, and I will use this review as a comparison between the two.Pros:Have an adjustable ear clip to accomodate those with "longer" ears. This is not necessarily an issue for me.The in-ear speakers are not silicone "buds" that you shove into your ear. They are plastic and they are meant to sit outside the ear. I think that because of this they draw more power from the mp3 player and are much louder than the SF200s. Although they are not as comfortable as the silicone buds, they don't pop out of place like the buds do.The microphone/button function the same as the SF200s, with a single button for call answer/pause (1-click), and next/previous track (2-click, 3-click).The microphone picks up audio very well.Cons:The headphones are made of cheap flimsy plastic. This must be where the $7 difference is between this product and the SF200s. I don't know how long they'll last. I've had the SF200s for a year now and have been through many many hours sweat and rain. I don't know if the JVCs will hold up as long, but we'll see.The 3.5mm jack is straight, as opposed to angled. Thus, it sticks out of players much farther than an angled chack, such as that of the SF200. This isn't "bad" in any way, but if I were ever pressed for space near a headphone jack, these most likely won't fit.If you were to ask me if I would prefer the SF200s or the JVCs, I'm not sure which I would choose. Probably the JVCs since they are $7 cheaper, and I really did not like the fit of the SF200s in my ear - the silicone would always come loose and pop out while I was running. Furthermore, fresh ear wax would build up inside of the buds, and the JVCs don't have that problem. However, the SF200s are entirelly cased in flexible silicone/rubber material (even the wire), so there is no worry of something cracking or breaking. I only replaced them because they got a little too wet one day and the button signal would send to the player at random times, pausing my music or skipping to the next/previous track uncontrollably. If the SF200s would switch from the silicone earbuds towards the plasic ones that won't pop out, then I would definitely switch back.

I run outside and get VERY sweaty. I've been searching FOREVER for wired headphones/earbuds that won't slip out of my ears when I run, when I came across these and decided to give them a try. And, I'm glad I did because they are a game changer! They fit around your ear, discreetly, and the ear piece sits just outside your ear, so that you don't have to jam a little bud in there that keeps slipping out. I can actually go for a long run without having to fuss with my headphones/earbuds the whole time.

Good sound quality but earpieces are too hard. I pulled rubber cushions off of old headphones.

These headphones worked really well for about three months. The sound quality is good, they hold on to your ears well, and I find them fairly comfortable. Unfortunately after three months one headphone cuts out. Maybe yours will last longer.

I bought the JVC HA-EBR80 at least 10 years ago. They have been terrific. After years of use, I think the internal wiring on the right ear piece started to fail. I just bought my second pair (the JVC HA-EBR80 in red). They work fantastic. I especially use these when I'm having a long phone conversation. My I-Phone has terrible volume and it is hard to hear conversations. Plug these babies in and I hear perfectly. Note, you will need to purchase an adapter to use these with your I-Phone. Very good price for a quality product. The speaker is placed just right on these and no one has any problem hearing me during a conversation.

I use one old android phone (without an account) and an old ipod touch for my music, audiobooks, and podcasts. I have my headphones in from when I wake to when I sleep unless I'm with loved ones or at work. I needed a pair of comfortable headphones that would stay in/on and preferably with in-line controls so I wouldn't have to dig out my devices and fumble with the controls while cooking, cleaning, painting, video gaming, or whatever.Pros:Extremely comfortable: The over the ear loops are generous and extend to fit ears I don't think I've ever seen on a person. They're light and don't irritate the channel just outside the ear, unlike my old ipod headphones. I often forget I'm wearing them and will snag them when taking off clothes because they're still in.The play/pause button: That's all I use it for, stop and go music. It's responsive and as long as the programming is in your device (androids handle this input in strange ways) the selected audio will respond accordingly.Good sound: I'm not a sound-phile, I don't really know what I'm listening to. I have, however, cranked up my music with no ill effect and the odd speaker 'cover' seems to direct more sound directly into your ear canal. I've lowered the volume on my devices since the snug fit provides much better output.Cons:No volume control: So close.... so close. I just can't seem to find a set I like that also have that feature, but it's a minor concern.Play/pause button: It is extremely sensitive. I've had music and other audio kick on and off unexpected when my headphones were plugged in and the strap from my bag hit the thing or I've brushed it too hard. I've set the headphones and device coiled next to me and heard strange, distant talking, not realizing what was going on for a minute or two, only to find I'd leaned and clicked the button again.Overall: If you need comfortable headphones that are affordable, get 'em. The play/pause button is a nice, if slightly overzealous, feature. But as always, if you want more, you have to spend more.

📮Spedizione 📮Ho acquistato queste cuffie ormai 2 anni fa e ne sono pienamente soddisfatto.Il pacco è arrivato in una decina di giorni, considerando che non sono in Italia il tempo medio è più che giustificato. ✔️📦Venduto e spedito da All Your Music. 📦Il pacco era ben imballato da Amazon ed all'interno conteneva la confezione da espositore in plastica delle cuffie proprio come da foto del venditore. All'interno ci troviamo le cuffie ed il Manuale d'istruzioni. ✔️💰Qualità/prezzo ottimo💰Le cuffie le ho acquistate per poco meno di 15€ s.s. comprese e mi hanno dato subito l'impressione di essere di buona qualità, come il marchio JVC richiede.Le JVC sono splash proof, quindi non si rovinano col sudore o con la pioggia, ottime quindi per ogni condizione ambientale durante gli allenamenti o per chi ha sudorazione all'orecchio. Non sono cuffie isolanti, ma semi-aperte, quindi si possono sentire i rumori esterni ed essere avvisati di qualche pericolo, a patto di tenere il volume entro certi limiti.Passiamo alla qualità sonora: il volume riprodotto è buono, ben bilanciato e la profondità del suono è ottimale. Le vostre canzoni durante gli allenamenti verranno riprodotte al meglio, ma non aspettatevi bassi potenti perchè, proprio per la conformazione delle cuffie, vanno "spinte" al padiglione per poter godere di veri bassi che non saranno mai potenti e cupi come per le cuffie intraauricolari, ma quelli che si sentono sono davvero apprezzabili, soprattutto con gli MP3. ✔️⌚ Funzionamento: ⌚Queste cuffie non sono in-ear ma bensì degli auricolari tradizionali con supporto ear-hook regolabile per gli sportivi. Qui bisogna dire che purtroppo il supporto pur essendo regolabile in 5 posizioni per tutte le grandezze del padiglione auricolare non ha un sistema di bloccaggio, lo scatto dopo qualche utilizzo risulta essere troppo "morbido" spostandosi dalla scelta iniziale. Ciò non fa cadere assolutamente l'auricolare che resta ben saldo all'interno dell'orecchio (almeno nel mio caso), ma è giusto segnalarlo. Questa soluzione offre vantaggi per chi ha sudorazione all'orecchio, in quanto essendo solamente appoggiate le cuffie fanno passare un po d'aria utile ad asciugare il padiglione auricolare, quindi è consigliata a chi soffre di otiti o produzione eccessiva di cerume che con le in-ear viene spinto all'interno dell'orecchio creando il "tappo".Il telecomando per il controllo remoto, posto sotto la cuffia destra serve a rispondere alle chiamate, terminare la chiamata oppure riprodurre/fermare un brano con un tocco, passare al brano successivo con 2 tocchi veloci o al brano precedente con 3 tocchi. Il telecomando inoltre contiene anche il microfono per rispondere alle chiamate, buona la qualità di ascolto dell'interlocutore ma soffre come tutti i piccoli microfoni il vento. Il cavo è lungo 1,20 m ed il connettore infine è placcato oro.Le cuffie sono certificate compatibili con tutti i dispositivi Apple, Android e Blackberry.I materiali sono davvero buoni, dopo 2 anni nessun segno evidente di usura dell'archetto eppure le utilizzo sia nella corsa che nei giri in bici. Allego le foto per farvi vedere la situazione attuale, non mi aspettavo che delle cuffie acquistate a questo prezzo resistessero a 2 anni di allenamenti e sollecitazioni varie. ✔️PRO:- Buona qualità audio per la voce e la musica- Splash proof, protetto contro il sudore- Materiali resistenti- Le clip offrono una buona presa sicura sulle orecchieCONTRO:- Microfono non perfetto in alcune situazioni sottovento;- Il cavo da 1,20 m può essere troppo lungo per gli sportivi che utilizzano smartphone, io stesso devo girare il cavo attorno alla fascia da braccio per non avere il cavo penzolante;- Bassi poco profondi, non indicate agli amanti dell'ascolto a tutto basso;- L'auricolare più il fonoassorbennte può diventare scomodo dopo l'utilizzo per diverso tempo lungo per chi ha orecchie sensibili, alcuni infatti possono preferire una soluzione più comoda e morbida, oppure un pad più silenzioso per isolarsi completamente dai rumori esterni.💭Soddisfatto? SI💭Considerazioni finali: E' un buon prodotto con pochi difetti marginali, il sistema ad archetto è buono ma non perfettamente stabile, servirebbe una soluzione che fermasse bene nella posizione scelta l'archetto. La qualità audio è buona così come il volume ma i bassi sono poco marcati, pur avendo un bel suono molto pulito. Il Fonoassorbente in gomma che appoggia all'orecchio si è un po rovinato con il tempo. Qualidade do som é satisfatório, peca um pouco nos graves mas possui um volume alto sem distorções no som e é bem confortavel de usar. Não aparenta ser um fone muito resistente, acredito que pela faixa de preço em que ele se encontra e por ser um fone voltado para a pratica de esportes, poderia ser mais resistente então é bom ter cuidado no uso diário.O microfone dele é bom, capta bem o som, uso para home office e tem me atendido bem.No geral é um bom produto, principalmente se voce não gosta dos fones intra-auriculares e encontrar ele em alguma promoção, possa valer a pena.

Para el precio, cumplen, pero el botón de pausa y avance, muy sensible, se activa con el roce de la ropa.

Quede bastante satisfecho con estos audífonos. Una de las cosas que más me gustaron de ellos además del diseño y color que lucen geniales, son los ganchos que van en las orejas, ya que estos además de ser ajustables dependiendo del tamaño de la oreja, son de un plástico tipo goma, lo cual los hace super comodos ya que se pueden traer por horas y nunca lastiman. Yo los uso principalmente para ir a correr y gracias a lo que ya comente, se ajustan perfectamente a la oreja lo cual hace que todo el tiempo se queden en su sitio.El audio también es de muy buena calidad, esto me sorprendió de muy buena manera, ya que siempre en cuestión de audífonos he comprado marca Sony. Así que puedo decir que estos JVC se defienden muy bien en este aspecto.El botón y el micro para contestar llamadas también funcionan bastante bien, haciendolos ideales para usarlos con el smartphone. El botón sirve para interactuar con el reproductor de música: pausa, adelanta y regresa las canciones. E igual tiene la función para contestar y colgar llamadas con un solo toque.La descripción del producto (e igual la imagen del empaque) dicen que son compatibles con ipod, ipad y iphone, pero no habla del resto de los smartphones. Yo los uso con un Sony Xperia y son 100% compatibles.El punto negativo de los audífonos seria el cable con el que vienen, ya que este no es de la mejor calidad, es bastante delgado y además tiende a enredarse bastante. Pero creo yo que con la precaución y cuidados adecuados los audífonos se pueden conservar en buenas condiciones por mucho tiempo.Y del envío ni hablar, como siempre Amazon muy cumplidor en este aspecto.En resumen, unos muy buenos y prácticos audífonos, ideales para usarse cuando uno va a correr. Con el único pero de tener un cable no muy bueno y en apariencia frágil, pero bueno, por el precio que tienen es una compra que definitivamente no tiene pierde :)
