Broken teeth
This is a warning to all dog owners. I have a French bulldog who absolutely loves chewing antlers and I have been buying antlers for him for years! He’s 9 yrs old. Couple of days ago I noticed one of his molars was wobbly. Took him to the vet who told us the tooth was broken in half and other 3 teeth are broken too. So he now has to have 4 teeth extracted! The vet said that it’s caused by chewing antlers, apparently they are too hard for dog’s teeth. I am absolutely gutted and wish I had known earlier. The vet suggested a thumbnail test = if your nail doesn’t imprint in the toy when you press on it with your thumbnail then the toy is too hard for dogs to chew. Fractured teeth are very painful so I feel absolutely terrible for being responsible for my frenchie’s broken teeth.

Tough on my teeth at first, but soon got the hang of it.
I love these. The taste is amazing and they’ve completely cured both my craving for meat and smoking. I’ve recently become a vegetarian and also quit smoking around the same time - double whammy! And was struggling with cravings for both. I had a friend who swore by the Deer Antler Diet, which had really helped him give up meat in its traditional sense and he thought it could do the same for me. Well, I’m thrilled to say these deer antlers really do work a treat! Super tasty, too. They’re a little tough at first but once you get the hang of the chew and suck motion you get to the marrow inside. The knowledge that these antlers fall off naturally mean that I have no guilt about eating an animal product and the shape and action of having an antler in my mouth has really cured my cigarette cravings too. Can’t believe more people haven’t tried them yet. Five stars!

Dog likes them
Ok so I had to guess that the flavour was 5 stars because after asking my dog he wouldn’t give me a straight answer. He does however chew on this when he’s tired and going to sleep. He chews on it when he’s playing. He chucks it around when he’s playing and he carries it to me at least 27 times a day so show me how cool this antler is. He also likes me to hold it tight so he can get a good chomp on. He stood staring at the sofa for about 5 minutes and I wondered what he was doing. Turns out he “lost” his antler under there. He was devastated. When I got it out from under the sofa it was the best day ever. Now when he can’t find his antler he sits staring at the couch even when it’s not there. I wouldn’t mind but it took me about a week to teach him so sit and the ONE time the sofa stole his antler is imprinted as a core memory in his doggy brain. All in all I give this 5 stars. Sid however gives it all the stars.

Great product, even if a little pricey
The medium antler chew itself is as big as my hand, it branches into two, one being finger width and the other a childs wrist width. So in all about 7 inches (or 18cm) in total length. Our puppy likes it, even if it is a bit tough for his puppy teeth. I would probably suggest something softer and more bitey for very young pups, as these are very tough. And in theory dehydrated bone! So maybe try pigs ear, beef skin strips, pig tails, tripe or similar. Avoid dehydrated / bleached rawhide chews, as these are so unhealthy for dogs and could potentially kill your pooch.

Too small
This is the second time I’ve ordered and I’m afraid the antler od medium size was much too small for the size described about 11cm of total length. It’s not a cheap product so I expected a medium size to be a proper size. I won’t be ordering again and need to find an alternative product. I’ve contacted the supplier but they said that each antler is weighed to determine the size. So it’s about the weigh not the actual length and size of the antler, which I get but still it’s disappointing as it hasn’t met the needs of my dog.

4 stars :)
I bought this as a little Christmas gift for my power chewing staffy-cross as she goes through toys and chews quicker than anything! She was a little unsure about it to begin with, but then realised what it was for and seems happy. The antler doesn't smell after it's been chewed and also doesn't fracture which is a relief. Not quite as durable as a nylabone for my girl, but I like that it is a natural product and gives her something different to have a chew on and is also a bit softer on the teeth and gums than nylon chews.I will probably buy again but go for a bigger one as I'd hope it would last even longer 😁

Great value long lasting
My dog loves these. I have a very excitable 3 year old female springador, and she loves things like this. They're about the only thing she can't destroy in a day, she just loves to rip things up or chew them to bits! It's a treat I feel perfectly safe giving her, no fear of splitting or her injuring herself. She was with her dog sitter last week and that's the only reason I need a new one as I didn't get it back from her. Some other brands I've had in the past she's quickly chewed into a sharp point at one end and I've had to get rid, these are definitely worth paying for as they last months. Will definitely re order

Decent size, not “large” but happy enough as 10% goes to charity xx
Not what I’d class as large (the two-pronged antler neatest my rottie’s face in the photo) but any company that gives to charity deserves a good review 🐾🐾🥰 See my other reviews if you’d like info on the other two antlers pictured 🐾🐾 xx
