Super Crema is Must have.
I absolutely love the Lavaava Super Crema! The scent is inviting, and the flavor is rich and smooth—exactly what I hoped for. While I initially hesitated due to the price, it’s proven to be worth every penny. I use it with my Breville 881 espresso machine (grind level 17), and it creates the perfect latte with a consistently velvety texture and robust taste. The freshness is undeniable, and the strong caffeine content delivers that energizing kick I need. After finishing my first bag, I immediately bought a second, I’m already obsessed and can’t wait to tell everyone about this gem. If you’re looking for a premium coffee that lives up to its promises, look no further!

Lavazza review 👍
Well, I have to tell you that I am not a barista or a coffee influencer on any level other than a regular old Joe who likes coffee and the effects it holds. I put it bluntly, "hey, that coffee taste good and gave me a smooth pick-me-up". I know that sounds a little dramatic, but the world resounds on such emphasis in reviews. I would not be throwing out a review unless I thought highly about a product, or that it wasn't worth the damn!. I'm here to let you know that the coffee which I purchased, Lavazza, had all the best bullet points of interest as I looked, smelled, and did my best to do an unbias overview for these humble comments. I'm sure that the people putting this coffee together had their customers/clients in mind at all times. The coffee beans are nice shiny beans with a mild aroma. All the potential signs for getting a job done that Lavazza Coffee is proud of. That being a little bit of motivation and a mild taste to help you get through the day. I drink coffee everyday so I guess these are the points of interest which I believe should be on every coffee drinkers to do list when drinking coffee. Personally, I want to know if the coffee fits my needs. I just want to get that little helper to get me through each and every day. I believe the Lavazza Coffee Company's mission statement is very heartfelt and serious. Each and every day, constantly thinking to put out their best products. Like I say, I have used and consumed Lavazza coffee for many years and do not see myself changing up. Lavazza is a part of my life. If you have something to say about the coffee, let it be in the column of how this coffee makes you feel. Does it do its job like it is meant to do? From the beginning of when any kind of coffee was first consumed, I thank that day. I gave a five star for all reasons being they have a product that is put out and always evolving to the best of their ability. I hope this review points you in the direction for satisfying your curiosity and maybe going out and buying a bag to try for yourself. Make Lavazza one of your stopping points in life after you try enough brands to form a good opinion about any coffee.....or not. You don't have to be a barista or coffee critic just to buy a bag of Lavazza Coffee. Buy a bag for the reason why you buy any coffee. Let Lavazza become a casual or everyday ritual for those few minutes that you enjoy a family-owned and run coffee company. You can thank Lavazza Coffee Company for being there to help you. That's not a hard sell, those are the people who work to help make your day just a little bit better. I'm sure glad Lavazza Coffee Company is out there helping me to get through every day. 👋😎✌️

Not my cup of coffee but it might be someone else's
Update (+2 Stars):After a few days of the coffee airing out in my grinder and also changing my grind from medium to coarse (highest setting on my OXO Grinder), the coffee seems to taste significantly better when brewed and the unpleasant smell has dissipated. I'm increasing my rating of the coffee for this reason, as it actually is good enough to be a daily drink for me at this point, but I still don't believe the price is worth it as you can purchase from a local roaster or have a higher quality coffee subscription for around this price, so I likely won't be buying it again unless it goes down closer to $9/pound. That said, I'm definitely glad now that I'll be able to enjoy it in the meantime.Original Review:I tried this coffee this morning, as I didn't want to keep paying the high price for the coffee I normally bought from a local roaster, but honestly it's regrettably not that great. I wish that I had read the description better to see that it was 40% robusta coffee beans, because it is definitely lacking 40% of the flavor that I'd rather it have, and while I do feel a big caffiene punch from it, that's about it. It's oddly weak-tasting, even when brewed strong. It's a little tiny bit chocolatey/hazelnutty like the description says, and it's very fruity, but two qualities in coffee I don't care much for are excessive (unbalanced) fruitiness or acidity. This one does pass the acidity aspect (it's a bit more on the bitter side, but pleasantly bitter if that makes sense), but yeah, it's definitely not a coffee I'd serve anyone. I don't have an espresso machine, so I just tried this as pour-over coffee in a V90, but it ain't good and I'm not buying it again. It may be good for cold brew or espresso -- it DOES taste like cold brew I've gotten at a coffee shop before -- but not for pour-over coffee. Also, some people say that they LOVED the smell of this coffee as soon as they opened the bag, but I had the exact opposite experience. It smells like that overwhelming almost burnt smell that you smell in some coffee shops (the ones that serve cold brew and have a sealed concreet floor). IF that is the kind of coffee you like, more power to you!! This probably is a roast that will satisfy people who prefer robusta beans or just want the hit of caffeine, but it just isn't mine.Positives:- Bitter but not TOO bitter -- much better than coffee which is overly acidic- Was roasted recently (September 2024 -- bought in December 2024)- The flavors they say will be there -- hazelnut, chocolate, and fruit -- are indeed thereNegatives:- It tastes very weak, even when brewed strong- The fruitiness flavor is very dominant -- it's not well-balanced in this aspect- Smells like the smell I can't stand in most coffee shops- 40% robusta beans and yet priced like 100% arabica coffee blends

Smooth, great tasting coffee
After traveling in Europe and being spoiled with great coffee, I came home and started my search to find something comparable and this one definitely fit the bill. Smooth, great taste without being bitter. Great price point and I love grinding my own beans. Recently traveled to Sicily and Turkey where this brand is widely available. I think that alone speaks volumes.
