I bought this mostly for my Tesla Model 3 to rotate the tires and replace sway bars or other work going forward. What I like about this product is I only use the lowest height to keep my car raised. I don't have to worry about pins for additional height. I bought two for doing things safely now. For tire rotations, I used to use my floor jack to rise the front side high enough to place a jackstand with puck on the rear and then use the floor jack to continue to support the front of the car. I never liked this approach but used it for tire rotations- getting under the car is an entirely different thing which prompted me to buy this product for a safer solution. The jack works fine, but you will have clearance issues using even a low profile floor jack. The jack pad will move a little towards the outside of the car. So it's important to position this product's jack pad a little off-center of the puck so the jack pad is a little more towards the center of the car axis. The reason I say this is I didn't consider this and the metal pad that comes with the product shifted after I lowered the car onto the stand. I don't blame the product as much as my own lack of knowledge so I'm sharing this with you guys.

I had to place the tire on 3 2x4’s to get enough clearance using a Tesla scissor jack. After that it worked great.

Haven't used it yet because it needs modification for scissor jack and pinch weld. I don't want to use hydraulic jack that may become stuck. So it needs to weld a fin on the bottom to mimic pinch weld for scissor jack. The top adapter also needs modification in order to not damage pinch weld because when using the top adapter the load is all on one pinch weld. Unless the car is lifted vertically on four identical lifters with rubber pads, the pinch weld itself should not be where the load is. The load is on the spot right behind the pinch weld.

I purchased two of these jack stands while rebuilding the suspension on my high-mileage 2015 Tesla Model S, and they have made the project significantly safer and easier. Before starting this project, I had never done suspension work before. When I began about four months ago, I only planned to replace the shocks and springs at all four corners, the front suspension components, and the rear adjustable control arms. After installing those parts and driving the car, the wear in the remaining components became much more noticeable. The project eventually expanded to include the tie rods, front links, all four wheel bearings, CV axles, and several other parts. One of the most difficult parts of the job was safely raising the suspension to normal ride height so the bolts could be torqued properly. Before purchasing these stands, I was using regular jack stands underneath the suspension arms, a scissor jack on one side, and another jack on the opposite side. Trying to raise both sides while the car was already supported was awkward, stressful, and did not feel safe. I researched Tesla-specific lifting stands, but most of the other options I found cost more than $200 each. I eventually found these and purchased two. They completely changed the way I was able to work on the car. I can now safely lift and support an entire side of the vehicle, giving me much better access and making the process considerably more comfortable. For anyone reading this review, you are probably here after seeing the more expensive alternatives. Trust me, these stands are good. Many of the negative reviews appear to come from people who purchased only one stand, did not lift the car evenly, or used the wrong type or size of floor jack. One review shows a stand that broke, but based on the photos, it appears that the floor jack may have been too wide and prevented the stand’s handle from fully moving into the locked position. Make sure your jack fits properly and that the locking mechanism is completely engaged before putting weight on the stand. My biggest recommendation is to purchase at least two of them, not just one. Buying four is even better if you plan to support the entire vehicle. Using only one can cause the car to lift unevenly and makes the process more difficult than it needs to be. During this four-month project, every time I tried to cut corners to save money, I ended up wasting an entire weekend and then waiting for the proper tools or parts to arrive. These stands are one of those items that I wish I had purchased from the beginning. Having the correct equipment has also allowed me to go back and correct some of the work I originally completed with inadequate tools and less experience. I still have four more parts to replace, and I recently ordered two additional stands. My dad and I plan to support the entire car, replace the remaining parts, and carefully verify every suspension bolt in both the front and rear. Living in an HOA community has made the project take longer because I cannot leave the vehicle visibly disassembled. My neighbors’ upstairs living room faces my garage, and trash pickup is the day after my weekend. I often have to reinstall the wheels and make the car driveable just so I can move the trash cans outside. These stands have made that repeated setup and reassembly much easier. This has been a four-month project filled with mistakes, corrections, learning, and a lot of patience. Considering that I had never done suspension work before, I am proud of how much I have learned and how much of my earlier work I have been able to improve. I am looking forward to finishing the project at my dad’s house, working together as equals. These stands have given me the stability and confidence I needed to complete the project much more safely. For anyone working on a Tesla suspension, buy two or four of these stands, confirm that your floor jack fits correctly, and make sure the handles are fully locked before lowering the vehicle onto them. Buyer beware. The stands are extremely heavy and low quality The stability is questionable. The surface finish is very poor and will chip upon the first light usage, or be chipped when received. Then good luck receiving a full refund as they charge you for both the original shipping and return shipping for a product that clearly does not meet what is marketed. There are other, much better alternatives on the market.

One of only 3 products available that i could find that allow you to place a jack-stand on four lift points with only 1 jack. One competitor (adjustable height) is twice the price delivered but is not-stock anywhere that I could find. One competitor is not adjustable in height and far more bulky. Pros for this unit Fully adjustable as to height Works great with scissor jack (drill powered) Has multiple height settings Sturdy Cons Heavy 4 weigh more than 100 lbs Assemble before use to verify the main pins holes on each end not align precisely (this is easily corrected but removing some material from the top of the notched adjustment piece so the will go deeper into the receiver. In my case less that 30 seconds on a bench grinder removing a small amount on the top edge allowed the holes to align. This minor material removal doe not affect the integrity as the locking pins in those holes actually carry all the the load. It will take a few tries to become familiar with the reassembly of the stands under the vehicle. I would absolutely buy again if I did not already have 4.

Works okay with Tesla model Y to do tire rotations (front to back) with some caveats . If the jack stand + rubber puck is on center, the jack stand will not distribute the load evenly due to the car sitting at an angle. This causes the base to be at an angle and legs will point slightly outward. Under load the legs do not move to adjust the weight. So I placed the stand slightly off center to the puck to counteract this. The flat adapter place has enough room to allow the stand to be placed off center and allow the legs to sit flat to the ground. Overall I am happy with the product, but I can see how Rivian r1s review had a bad experience.

You need a jack saddle that’s at least 3” without a lip since the contact patch is 3.25”. There are very few jacks which will work with it. Any smaller saddle and the jack becomes extremely dangerous to use. Ask me how I know… my car got dropped when its contact with my jack suddenly tilted and shot out. This can happen in any direction — no matter how well centered you have it placed. It also requires a lot of clearance to use and definitely won’t fit under a sedan without first putting it on a jack stand… yeah ironic right? Or you can drive up on jack ramps, but it’s far from a seamless process. There are also many parts which make it difficult to store. Mine arrived in a dilapidated box with parts of it hanging out
