Ordered this to fix my iphone 6. It worked awesome. I followed a couple of different videos on line (youtube) and was completed with fixing my charging port problem in about 25 minutes. I would recommend getting a good tool kit because the tools that come with are cheep and can strip your screws out. Secong thing i would do is order a magnetic diagram mat to place the screws so you dont lose them. Other than that if you have good eyes and patience and a good steady hand you should be able to complete this repair.I know others have complained about there microphone not working but mine works fine after install and be sure to remove all stickers off the product before install.... I thinkse people forget to do this.On a scale of 1-10 and 10 being the hardest to do.... I would rate installing this part about a 6.I would recommend this product if i need to purchase thia again.

This is perfect for a fix to a dead phone if you are just trying to get it working to sale it. I bought two for mine and my wife's phone, the microphone for Siri doesn't work on hers now, and my microphone for calls intermittently works.

I wish I didn't have to give it one star because this charging port was the worst purchase I have ever made. It would be ok if they at least made an effort for it to work for one day, but no. I installed the part and plugged in my phone and it said my apple charger was not certified, because Apple stopped certifying their own products. I did get it to charge once, I'm not exaggerating in any way, it took 20 minutes to go from 30% to 31%. After it charged all night, I took it to work thinking, I'll just charge it all day, but it died, while being charged, because my cable was not certified. This port is garbage, I missed many phone calls and messages today because of this worthless product.

My iPhone's headphone jack stopped working so I ordered this replacement. I installed it and everything is working like new. The only negative thing about this repair is that it is a bit complicated, so if you don't have much experience with fixing things be aware it is a bit difficult. Not impossible by any means, but just take into account this is harder that just replacing the battery. Make sure to watch a few YouTube videos on how to do it and make sure to have the right tools.So far it's worked just fine and I can hear everything with my headphones again.

I bought this because my 14-year-old son's charging port died.When it arrived two days later (thank you Unifix and Amazon Prime) my son called to tell me it had arrived. Then, before I could tell him to wait until I got home before he started dissecting his $600 phone, he told me he had already replaced the old piece with the new one and was calling me from the phone he just took apart and put back together.Why, I wondered, could he accomplish such a relatively complex task, and yet never remember to put his socks in the laundry room instead of under his bed?

Installed this in my iPhone 6plus as per a Utube video. Make sure you keep track of where each screw comes from and you will have no problems. I labelled and drew diagrams on a piece of paper and had a magnetic tray under the paper. Then had an easy way of keeping track of where each screw and part came from. There are many different lengths so it is imperative to get everything back where it came from or you could have problems. Mine now works great!
