Works great and is very quiet. It has great air movement.It’s easy enough to install but if you are inexperienced it may take awhile.This fan replaced a Hunter that ran virtually continuous for 20 yrs( it was getting noisy)

There is nothing not to love about this fan. My husband said the instructions were brilliant, that our cat could have installed it with how well the instructions were written and how easy it was to install. All of the bags and parts are labeled with different icons, making each one easy to find when it manual says "use x from the bag labeled with the circle". It took him maybe 20 minutes, start to finish. The best part about it was the ceiling mount. It's set up so you can slip the fan on it and it holds it in place for you while you attach the wires to the ceiling. I was thrilled, because that meant I didn't have to hold up a heavy fan above my head while my husband put the wires together. The fan is so, so quiet and cranks out air. The high setting would be perfect if you don't have AC, the middle setting is great and the low setting gives a nice breeze. The fan is beautiful. We have it in the brushed nickel and I love it. If you're thinking about buying this fan and you're on the fence, do it. There isn't a better value out there. We've replaced other fans in our home, and I wish we had used this one for all of them.

A relatively easy install. I replaced an old Hunter fan of similar design. Especially improved was the replacement of the snap-on plastic lock ring trim with a simple canopy cover with two screws. This made later adding the remote receiver very easy in the canopy. Found that it was fully compatible with my older Hunter wall switch remote (99375) and Hunter hand-held remote. Since it is in a master bedroom, we like being able to turn on the dome light when we walk into the room at night with the wall switch. The hand-held remote is on a night stand for fan control and turning off the light. Very convenient arrangement, and no need to fiddle with pull chains high in the air above the bed. Is very quiet, and we like the simplicity of the design. My only ding is that the glass dome was broken on arrival, but I preferred the older globe I had from the retired Hunter fan which was identical in size.

hunter is a brand you can trust. i purchased this to replace the last fan i bought that wasn’t a hunter. it was a breeze to install. the instructions were clear and easy to follow. the speeds are great, the aesthetic of the fan itself is classic hunter. it is so quiet even at the highest speed. i have two switches and that was easy to set up. i’m extremely happy with this purchase. i still have a room that needs a fan. you can bet it’s going to be a hunter ceiling fan. edit: added a couple of smart bulbs to the light to further expand the awesomeness of this ceiling fan. bulb size is A15 E26. see the two additional photos.

Updated my home with a couple of these fans since we didn't want fans that came with one of those chintzy plastic remote controllers that get lost or break easily. I also installed the Lutron Skylark LED dimmer and fan speed controller switches while I was at it. So far they all work perfectly together. One thing to note is the LED bulbs that come with this fan are an odd size and are not very bright. However standard A19 LED bulbs with E26 base fit just fine so I upgraded to some FEIT LED dimmable bulbs that are 100 watt equivalent for basically double the light output. This was also another reason I wanted these fans over others that use proprietary LED modules of questionable build quality and you never know if those Chinese manufacturers are still going to be in business or even making replacement modules in the future if they burn out. If the light ever fails in this fan I can buy a replacement bulb from the local hardware store the same day. As far as noise goes they are totally silent on low and medium and on high it makes some whooshing noise which is to be expected. There are no rattles, squeaks, or hums that we can hear either at any speed. There is a slight wobble at high speed but nothing concerning and I don't think I have ever seen a perfectly balanced fan on its high setting anyway. It also moves plenty of air for our needs. Overall we are really pleased once we added the upgrades mentioned above. Build quality is excellent and installion was a breeze if you don't mind working on a ladder. The hardest part was pushing the rubber grommets into the fan blade holes that reduce vibrations between the mounting screws and fan blades.

I am a 19 year old man who had never installed a ceiling fan before. Upon receiving the fan, everything was neatly labeled and organized in the box. the instructions were clear and concise and provided ample information for installation. With only a power drill, the entire installing for me (a newbie) took about an hour. I do plan to order another one of these for another room in my house and I expect the installation to go much smoother. Overall, it was an easy install and I actually kind of had fun doing it. Now for the quality of the product: this fan is beautiful. I do not feel the pictures did it justice, and for the low pricing, it was an amazing deal. The fan is very quite and turns the air very effectively. The color of the blades looks very nice and makes a very attractive product. The fan is very stable and there is no wobble whatsoever. In conclusion: my first fan purchase was a success. The installation was smooth and easy, and the finished product looked fantastic. When it comes to buying fans, Hunter is a brand you know you can trust.

As all the reviews have said this is a quality Hunter fan which is easy to install. The installation would have been even more of a breeze had we not discovered the existing ceiling box was attached to a hanger bar that was too small to support the fan. Since finding the ceiling box in the attic under blown in installation would have been difficult if not impossible we went to Home Depot and found a retro-fit ceiling fan safety brace for $13. (Description : This Westinghouse Saf-T-Brace allows you to safely install your ceiling fan or lighting fixture in three easy steps--without having to access attic space. Ideal for installation during new construction or remodeling, this mounting brace can be put into finished ceilings through a 4-in. hole. The brace's three teeth easily twist and lock into the ceiling joists, its threaded multiple lead adjusts quickly, and its square tube allows for easy turning. It also includes a Saf-T-Cap to protect bolts and wires during drywall installation and painting.) Once the new ceiling box was installed the fan went up easily. There was a little wiggle in the fan, but was easily solved with the enclosed balance kit. The fan runs so quietly and smoothly the pull chains which hang beneath it don't even move. The glass light shade is a little darker than the picture but almost matches the glass shade on a floor lamp in the room. I'm very happy with the fan and its appearance.

Just changed my old noisy fan for this one. I wonder why I didn't change it earlier. Hunters are SO QUIET! I LOVE IT! Perfectly balanced, needed -no adjustment whatsoever- after I put the fan blades on. I also combined it with a KS240 smart switch (from TP-Link) and they are the perfect combo. I can control Fan speed and Light independently from Alexa, and the Hunter fan responds flawlessly whilst keeping noise level to about 0 at any speed. The one small improvement I would suggest would be to have another "bowl" choice. I personnally changed mine to an Aspen Creative, but at this point, this is just personnal style preference.

I first bought one fan for the bedroom and was so happy with it, that I bought another one for the living room and the children's room. Before I decided to spend a little more money and go with this company, I got a cheap fan, but it showed: the whole fan wobbled and was noisy and not very effective. This one is easy to install with a step by step manual with pictures. The fan is very quiet and not wobbly at all. It creates a great airflow, in fact, I never even needed the highest setting. It appears quality made and I had no issues since I bought the first one a year ago. I'll stick with this company.

I was disappointed to see the blades were of MDF not a metal?? There was nothing mentioned about it?
