I love this product, but it's waaaaay too expensive here. I can get it at any of three local markets for $1.98 to $2.28 per bag. This is just highway robbery. No, it does not have the texture and feel of real pasta but, hey, you're eating this stuff rather than the real thing for a reason. This is as close as you're gonna get at this period in time, to the real thing. Be thankful and if you can't be thankful then just don't eat it. Look in your local supermarket before spending a small fortune for it online only to find you hate it. It's usually with the refrigerated Asian foods. And that's where it really shines...in Asian dishes, stir fries and soups. Cut it with kitchen shears or chop it up to use it as rice. I for one am really thankful for this product as pasta was my downfall. I haven't tried any other brand, but I imagine the chickpea flour added to this one gives a better texture than other brands that just use the konjac flour.

Won't buy this again. I prepared it according to package direction by starting out rinsing under cold water. This was suppose to remove the "earthy" smell. Well it didn't but I continued with the prep. After warming it it still smelled but decided to try it anyway. The texture was like eating rubber bands. Poorly cooked calimari has a better texture. I won't buy it again. Overall the product was just "off". Not good.

I liked the product, texture is more chewy that regular pasta, FYI these are FAR over priced on Amazon you can get them at Walmart, target, or H‑E‑B for less that $3 a pack 6 = around only $18

I ate these and they taste was fine, whatever. Following that I spend the entire night in agonizing stomach pain and vomiting! 100% I will never go near these again. I saw other reviews that they do not digest well and how they go in, they will come out. These should not be FDA approved
