Comes in Black, Coffee, Brown, Chestnut, Tan, Burgundy Harness: Full of characters and glazed to a shiny finish. Has a nice pull-up and takes character over time. Comes in Walnut, Buck, Russet, Olive Latigo: Finished with tallows to make it water resistant and has a gorgeous pull-up. Comes in Cherry, Caramel Classic: Natural veg tan leather that is hand-dyed. Comes in Navy, Slate, Pink, Natural (undyed) Full Grain Leather Our leather comes from Wickett & Craig, tanning since 1867 in Curwensville, PA. We use vegetable-tanned leather that is traditional method of tanning leather using tree bark and ages to a beautiful patina. Full-grain leather is the outermost layer of cowhide that has all the characters and is not to be confused with “genuine leather” that mass production industry uses for bonded leather made out of residues- think wood vs. MDF. Leather Care As leather is used, it loses its oil contents. Once a year, rub some leather balm, or olive oil on leather using a cloth and let it dry to revitalize cowhide.

Excellent product! Feels high end for a reasonable price.
This notebook cover has acted as my daily wallet since I received it two months ago and has worn beautifully.I sprang for the button closure, pen loop, and monogram and I’m very happy I did. There’s one small thing that would make this product better. The pen loop is centered on the long edge. It should really be located about two thirds from the bottom so that pens with a clip can be held more securely without extending past the end of the cover.

Unique Product, Rough Around the Edges
This was one of the only options available for the size notebook it covers, but I'm not sure if it is am improvement over the bare notebook. I was wearing the notebooks out in my shirt pocket, but now I feel like I'm carrying a paperweight around. It's large, thick, and looks a bit odd there, too. The edges are raw, which seems like an unnecessary concession at this price point. Overall, I like the idea of this, but will keep looking for a more refined option.

Smart looking case, beautiful leather
I ordered the small leather notebook cover from Coal Creek as I wanted something nice in which to keep my notes, ideas, and thoughts. It is made from beautiful leather and the monogram I had them do also looks really nice and professional! In hindsight I do wish there was something on the case with which I could hang or tether a small pen with, but overall I am really happy. The case is exactly as described. Thanks Coal Creek!

Well Made
Very well made and compact. Perfect for those that find other larger covers/notebooks too cumbersome for pocket carry.This is my 2nd purchase from this seller and am extremely pleased.

Is not easy to keep it folded, at least at first
The photos in the ad seem to have a notebook or something else but it is really what the sale ad says: "COVER". It is really real leather but difficult to keep closed tends to open due to the force of the leather. I put it under the leg of a piece of furniture to see if it stayed closed.
