I purchased this case specifically to be able to transport my Ruger LCP with me when flying. It works perfectly and is definitely TSA friendly.There are three layers of foam in the case - the egg crate foam that's attached to the lid and bottom of the case, as well as the perforated foam that is removed to create an area of the firearm to fit into. It was easy to work with and I was able to create space for the firearm, two magazines, and a 20 round box of ammo.The two front latches create a good seal, and the two locking holes on both sides are positioned correctly for you to add padlocks for air travel. The handle is very sturdy, as is the rest of the case. I like it a lot, and will probably buy larger ones for other firearms.

I don't usually post reviews but this box DOES THE JOB!! The exterior is extremely sturdy and the latches are "somewhat" cheap but not to the point that you'll feel like they'll break off when you're opening the box. The latches are made out of the same high quality plastic as the case but the downside is that the keys used to lock the box are made out of plastic as well. (There are holes for two additional locks though).Brought this box for a few collectibles and I am definitely going to buy another for my other set. BEWARE, this box may be a bit small for your needs but for me it's perfect. Just be sure to double check the measurements of what youre looking to store in the box before purchasing. I use this for my PVS-14. The pick and pluck foam is easy to remove and form to whatever object you are storing in the case.

The Seahorse SE 120 is the first storage case I purchased and own so I have no other brands to compare it to. It is a quality container that is on a higher level of protection than the bargain plastic cases with egg crate foam. The latches snap open and shut with a smooth and tight seal and it affords better protection against dust and moisture. For the price and quality and the fact that it is made in the USA I give it 5 stars. If you are looking for the best of the best and price is not an issue I recommend you do further research to determine if this is the case for your particular needs. I recommend you go on the company website to make sure you get accurate dimensions.

I wanted something super visible and protective to carry the allergy medications for my child. This fit the bill. I bought 2 of them. Now I can have one for the car and one to go if the child goes with someone else. These are just large enough to be memorable, but not so large that it gets in the way. When left with another parent, it's unlikely going to be forgotten. I also put labels on the outside to indicate content, and put written instructions on the inside.The case is very well-made, and the enclosed foam cushion was easily customized for my needs. I can put a shoulder strap through the locking holes of the case and take it hands-free.

I love the functional/practical aspects of this case, which are the main reasons that I bought it. I needed a small, rigid, airtight case and this has been working great. Because of this, it gets 5 stars from me. I have the larger version of this case (SE300) as well and it is just as good.The one thing that annoyed me when I first got it is the sticker on the front. It made the product feel cheap, especially when I was showing it to friends and family. The sticker is easily removable though and as soon as I realized this I pulled it off.What they have done is like sticking a bumper sticker on a nice car. The seahorse logo is ugly and the company name is slapped on a big high contrast background with little forethought. They also put their web address on there right under the company name like this is 1994 and good search engines don't exist yet. As I said though; The sticker is removable.

This product is going to work great for me. I am flying and needed a hard case to protect somethings.

I'm giving this case 5 stars due to the quality and value of the case, but the description is not correct. The interior of the box is approximately 7.5" x 5", which is really too small for anything but a tiny personal carry weapon (see photos above). It's a sturdy case with good latches and hinges, so I'll be keeping it to carry electronics and camera gear. But for my handgun I had to order a larger size case: Seahorse SE-300F Protective Case With Foam. Overall, I'm impressed with Seahorse and will look to them in the future as an affordable alternative to Pelican cases.

This case is very good quality! But too small for my gun! I want to return it! But the box is lost! Fortunately, you can load bullets!
