Great for Senior Cats!
I got this bed for my 18-year-old senior cat who is struggling with a bit of arthritis and likes a nice warm place to sleep. He immediately jumped in once we got it out of the package and plugged it in and has barely moved since. I was concerned at first because the sides were higher then I expected (and softer so they don't stand up firmly) but I folded them down as much as possible and he seems to really like it. He either curls up in a ball with his head tucked into the sides, or props his head up on the side and watches us, all warm inside his cozy bed.The material is very soft and washable (I haven't washed it in the washing machine yet, though I did do a quick spot clean of some canned food that somehow found it's way into the bed and that cleaned up very easily) and I like how the sides are the same material as well. The bed is always on but only heats when the animal is in the bed. Much better than the heating pad our cat was previously sleeping on, which went off after 20 minutes and was probably much too warm for our cat's body, even at it's lowest setting. This doesn't go off as long as he's in it, and heats to the exact right temperature. Whenever he's gotten out, his body feels warm but not hot and he seems really comfortable. He also seems to be moving around better, which I attribute to the bed warming his muscles just enough. He's about 8 pounds and fits comfortably inside the bed. We're all very happy with this bed and our little old cat is looking forward to many warm, snuggly nights.

Perfect cozy bed for my senior cat!
I recently bought this heated cat bed for my senior cat, and it’s been a huge hit! She absolutely loves it—she curls up on it every day and stays cozy for hours. It feels pretty warm to the touch, and works perfectly. The bed itself looks nice, and seems of good quality, with a simple and stylish design that fits well in my home. It smells fine after the first day or two, it just smells like new fabric out of the bag. It’s so easy to use—just plug in and play. It’s incredibly soft, too, providing just the right level of comfort for her.One of the best parts is how affordable it is to keep running. At only a few cents per day, it’s a low-cost way to keep her warm and happy, especially as the weather cools down. Highly recommend for anyone with a senior cat or any pet that loves warmth! It only took her a couple hours to try it out— she didn’t trust it at first. I put treats in it and left her alone for a while… she understood the assignment.

The best winter “rot pots”
We purchased one of these fabulous “rot pots” but soon realized we needed two. They are must-have warm beds for our hairless cats. They are cozy, soft, and best of all, WASHABLE! With the hours the sphynx spend curled up in the pots, the bottom of them becomes very oily and grimy. Just remove the heating pad, soak in Dawn detergent and run through the wash - they’re clean again! Only con is how quickly they lost their soft fluff. I imagine these pots would retain their fluff with “normal” hairy pets, Plus. the rot pots may not be good if you’re looking for a structured bolster bed - these are basically thick shaped blankets with an electric heating insert. Overall, they’re functional and warm.

Soft and warm but very flimsy
So far my cats have not gotten into this new bed - partially because it was folded in on the outer edge creating difficulty for them to get in and get comfy. The bed itself is cute and I can see how it stays warm making it ideal for kitties but .... they have to figure out how to get in it and stretch it out first.

He loves it!
It just arrived today, but my 13-year-old cat is already obsessed! It gives off a low heat, so I won’t worry about leaving it on, but it’s enough warmth that my cat noticeably enjoys this bed. It’s a bit floppy on the sides, so it doesn’t look like the perfect circle in the product photo, but my cat doesn’t seem to mind. :-)

Cats loves it!
My cats love this bed. Even just as a standard bed. Especially my one lady. It gets quite cold in the house before the heater decides to kick in, so this is perfect for those moments. My cats are curious types who (for the most part) actually use the things I buy them, so they pretty quickly found their way to this bed. Once they sit in it, I sneakily plug it in and watch them slowly fall asleep. so cute.My only real complaint is that I wish it had buttons or a dial or anything to adjust the heat/show what temperature the heater is at. In my opinion, this heats up just fine. It's not too hot, it's lukewarm to the human touch so it's definitely a little warmer to the cat. And one they lay on it, it gets much warmer. But again, not hot. (which is what you want!! this isn't a human heat bed, this is a pet bed!!) I ended up ordering another so my other cat can enjoy it as well :)

Awesome heated bed, dubious backing material
I'm a longtime fan of the K+H Thermo Kitty heated beds and pads. I consider K+H a quality manufacturer. I decided to try this version of a nest heated bed based on that history and knowing the materials used in other K+H products I've purchased. Why they decided to use a different (likely poor quality) backing material on this one I have no idea. They didn't use it on the other products I've gotten, which is why I'm so surprised. This type of backing material is common on pet beds and I am very familiar with it after years of rescue work. I diligently avoid it... because it usually tears very easily in washing machines, which then releases all the internal padding into the washer/dryer, which then ruins the bed.My cats are already making themselves at home in the bed and look utterly blissful with toasty bellies. For function as a heated bed, this looks like a winner. I haven't had to wash it yet. But I am wary of doing so, and will try to avoid having to wash it as much as possible, because I just don't trust that backing material after my experience with it on other pet beds. I hope K+H continues to use the better backing on their other products, and I will get another one of those instead of this style purely for that reason.

My kitty lovers her bed
Wonderful, soft cat bed. My kitty absolutely loves this bed and whatever room I am in and I bring it to, she will immediately get into it.
