Pyle PT-652T Digital AM/FM Tuner
I can't rate this item, because it did not work when I received it and I think about to send it back to Amazon. The feedback from Amazon were prompt and offered me 2 options, to send it back or talk to Pyle direct. The problem is that I am in Australia and Pyle and Amazon are in the US and I can't talk to anyone locally.

Decent for the money...
Rack mount brackets are crap...used some slightly longer sheet metal screws and tapped holes bigger, now they are on the unit sturdy. Reception is poor even with strong stations, bought an antenna that cost almost as much as the tuner itself which mostly resolved the problem. The antenna connector...my gosh, what were they thinking, I bought a little 3 dollar adapter from amazon to make it a screw on type...after I fixed all the engineering shortfalls it works great...they should have fixed it before they sold it. It is really just for background music anyway so it serves its purpose for that.

Doing it's job
I am getting what I paid for. I am receiving the stations that I want very clearly. I recommend this tuner.

Pyle PT-652 good unit.
This is a nice little tuner. It would be nice to have a headphone jack and a volume control, but man, it was only about $75. Looks good, sounds good, & simple. Does have a funky FM antenna input - I found that a push-on F-connector works fine. I don't care about the rack mounts.

just a tuner
I was under the impression that this was able to be used free standing. But it obviously needs components and that was not what I wanted

This is a piece of junk. Sound quality is poor. I guess you get what you pay for. The unit comes with ends for rack mounting (held on by 4 tiny screws) that does not even fit a 19" rack.

Very good tuner
Pyle PT-652T Digital AM / FM Tuner This tuner was part of the rebuilding of my 20 year old home stereo system. In hind sight, I wish I had shopped for same-brand components but this tuner fits just nicely. I am not crazy about the smooth antenna connection. It has fallen off more than once when shuffling the components around.
