Nicely sized card holder
I love these memory card holders because they are sized to hold a normal number of cards for a normal photographer. I hate the space the usual huge ones take up because if you aren’t a pro, you really don’t need space for a gazillion memory cards (frankly, even if you are a pro, having more than 8-10 extra memory cards is extreme given the capacity of pro-grade cards). This is perfect for a few spares and holds both SDs and XQD/CF nice and securely so you can have spares for all your card slots in one place.

Fits SD cards in their holder
I purchased this product because it would hold seven memory cards and I hoped the CF card slots were large enough to hold my SD cards in their plastic cases. Even though there are memory card cases that could hold seven SD cards, my preference is to have the extra layer of protection and keep the SD cards in their plastic cases.Fortunately this product met my expectation. I'm able to hold four SD cards in their plastic case and an additional three without a case.It should be noted that I have two sizes of SD card cases. The smaller ones fit perfect and allow the holder to be folded as designed (see pictures). While the larger cases do fit in the CF card slots when I fold the case it barely closes (the photo shows only one row with the larger SD cases).Since this product is really designed for four CF cards and three SD cards I have no complaints about the design. I'm happy because I can use it for four SD cards in small cases and three SD cards without a case. Just as I hoped.

Holds more than you think…a flexible long term solution
My previous wallet was from Tamrac and held AA cells and 4 memory cards (CF or SD)Nothing wrong with it, yet somewhat bulky.I looked at a few options, and Think Tank have a number of variations on this. One holds 9 SD cards, another CF sizes, and a zipped closure model.I hear some say only 3 SD slots is limiting, yet miss the obvious. With cases you can simply use the CF/CF Express slots, bringing you up to 7 cards in total. But wait, double up the SD cards side by side without cases in the 4 larger compartments, now we are up to 11 SD cards! Not that I would need this number, I can’t think of a single time I would need more than 3-4 cards even for extended away trips. The other advantage with this small wallet is that it’s far cheaper than the other ones from Think Tank, it is flexible so if you do change cards such as CF Express later on. You have spaces for those, and you won’t have to re-buy another memory card wallet.Regarding areas such as zipped pockets on the more expensive wallet, even violently shaking this wallet open, I wasn’t able to get a single card to fall out. I never had a card lost on the Tamron either (MX-S5369), and the compartments were quite a bit larger than this. It’s a non issue, and when closed up the chances of a lost card are almost zero. For micro SD of course I’d put them into a case. Full cards? Simply turn them around so the label isn’t showing.Quality is nice, double stitched with card holder. Lanyard attachment if you want to hook it to a belt loop, or secure it to a bag/backpack. You can also remove it if desired. All bases are coveredI do mostly use SD cards, but sometimes CF and might use other formats later on. The SD pocket rocket holds 9 cards, yet I can only use SD. With this one, I can use all the pockets for SD cards too, and if I need to use CF or CF Express cards I have that option. I think this is probably the one to go for, and at 8 pounds cost, I find it very hard to complain - I really see no point paying more. Even if I didn't use any other card format other than SD, I would still go for this as it lets you use cases on the cards. Compared to something like the Gomatic McKinnon wallet that’s about 30, this is something of a bargain.
