When I saw only 1 review for this priceless book a friend gave me, I wanted to add another as this is one of my most favourite books ever. Not only is the poetry as profound and powerful as that of great Masters like Rumi, Hafiz, Kabir, Mira Bai etc., but what I love about this book is the pieces are so short and varied that it makes it easy to pick up and get a quick dose of inspiration and uplift at any time. Thus, in addition to being a powerful book in itself, I find it the perfect book to have by my bedside for a quick boost in those times when I'm too busy to read anything. Although the same applies to Rumi etc., somehow these pieces are even shorter and more complete within a few lines. The power of the brevity and range of pieces on a given page somehow give me a complete re-orientation more rapidly here than with any of the many other poetry books I've come across so far. I hope you come to enjoy it as much as I do as initially I was a little disappointed by the brevity due to my friend having told me it was as great as Hafiz' "I heard God laughing". But once I stopped looking for more of that type of writing, I grew to love this book's specific style and content as much in its own special way.
