I have wanted to try bar shampoos for a while but was skeptical cuz well it was in bar form plus most of them are pricey, this one was only $5 something and I am pleasantly surprised how well it cleans my hair and it smells clean its not over powering sent it is just fresh and clean plus there’s no plastics to worry about having to dispose of, and worrying about them ending up in our landfills.

My hair feels thicker, healthier, smooth. Initially I was hesitant, it felt like a weird film was on my scalp. Turns out that’s not unusual with bar shampoo as your scalp adjusts. Been using the same bar since December, it’s now July, I have a bunch of bar left, and I was about 4-5 times a week, but thought it’s time to review. I’m coming to buy another bar, to have when this one does run out. Saving money, reducing packaging, saving space on my shelf, and my hair is happier for it!

Nice lather and no smell but my hair has a residue regardless of what conditioner I use.

I have thin, fine hair and an allergy to chemicals in shampoo. I bought this bar to see if it will be a good substitute for regular shampoo that causes me to have an allergic reaction. The bar lathered up nicely and had a nice mild scent. After rinsing and using conditioner my hair brushed out just fine (no tangles) but after my hair dried it did have a slight film in my hair that wasn’t visible but I could feel it. I got great volume though. My thin fine hair was looking like it had some body to it. I also used this bar on my body and it felt so great. So overall this bar is a win… except it felt me with an irritated scalp as it still caused my allergy to flare up. I wish they made a shampoo bar without coconut oil!! So many people have this allergy/irritant now days.

I purchased this to replace a shampoo bar from another brand and was upset to find that this leaves my hair feeling like a plastic doll's. The residue left behind is simultaneously sticky and drying. Even deep conditioning and/or extra rinses did not help. The only thing to get rid of the residue was to use another brand of shampoo.I have used products from this brand before with success but upon checking their website, I saw this product line is recommended for type 3/4 hair (curly) and not for 1/2 (straight to wavey) hair like mine.It smells nice and lathers well, but is not for thin or straight hair types.

Ladders up really fast. Smells good and makes my hair feel really soft I like it.

I used this product twice and it left my hair feeling like a paintbrush and waxy at the same time. I normally have soft, silky hair and it took 3 times washing it over a couple days with other products to bring it back to normal. I will never purchase or recommend it.

This is a great shampoo bar. I love the smell!
