Good product for the price. I have used it a couple of times and like it. I would make this suggestion: make sure you have a steady hand and this can be tough in cold weather. I tried a couple of others but I really like this product for the price and function. It is a small package so it fits easily into your bag.

This scope is not based on GPS or Laser, so the distances are estimated and not meant to be exact. The estimates are plenty close for me since I am not able to hit all of my irons and clubs the exact same distance every time. The price for this is amazing. The scope is very clear and easy to read, not too difficult to hold still long enough to get a good reading. To top it off, it comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. I am well satisfied with the quality and value of this purchase.

Let me start off by saying I don't golf...I hike, backpack, kayak, and canoe. I purchased this as an inexpensive, small, lightweight alternative to my waterproof binoculars. The field of view is not great, but adequate for what I need and seems fine when I use it to view the nearest golf hole. For my use, the range estimating reticle is nice since I can estimate range by rationing the height of the known object (a person for instance) to the reticle scale (which is set up for a golf flag height).Comes with a decent carrying case, hand grips are good, rubber end is comfortable around your eye and keeps out ambient light. It is durable enough to survive many drops on grass, but likely the internal optics won't survive multiple hard drops on concrete or rocks.My apologies to the golfers who are looking for a review of how well it works to improve your golf game.

I’m still pretty new to golf and didn’t want to have to spend hundreds of dollars on a rangefinder. I used this alongside a friend who had a fancy rangefinder, and my readings on this were very close to what my friend’s rangefinder had! This gives me a close enough approximation that I can pick the right club for how far I need to hit! Now I just need to make sure I hit it consistently every time!

Very disappointed. It is small and super light as it claims, but has severe limitations. One, it does not work when the flag post is not marked. Since most of the golf flag posts, we have played on, are not marked, it is of little value. BARSKA, tells you this, so you have been warned. Second, it is not possible to use on golf courses where the greens are not flat or fully visible. Where one only sees the top of a flag, it is of no value. Third, is a deficit that many have already mentioned in other reviews, is its sensibility. I was more than willing to pay more for less instability, but I was not apprised of that option. I do love that it is so small and so light.

Simple to use, low cost, and if ya drop it only a few bucks to buy a new one. Have broken many digital range finders that cost $100 plus dollars. Can’t get any more simple than this

This item looks good on paper but in practice is quite unusable. In order to have a workable yardage reading from which to select a club, it is necessary to hold the scope absolutely rock solid while sighting on the green pin. This is an impossible task. While the manufacturer acknowledges that the reading is approximate, "approximate" takes on whole new meaning with this scope. Readings are easily + or - 20 yards. Compared with this size of an error, my eyeball does equally as good a job.
