great
works great very small laser point for good sight zeroing ability at longer ranges without blowout

Simple and Perfect
Foolproof bore-sighting. A little tricky to seat the laser of you have big fingers, but otherwise great.

It works well if you hold it centered in bore.
Bought this to sight in a .22 LR. The first one I got was used and broken. It looked like they accidentally let the breech close on the wire. It should always be locked back when using. This bore sight gets you very close and to zeroing. It sits a bit loose in the bore, which requires holding it centered in the bore. I like it and use it whenever I zero in my .22’s.

Sight mark 22 cal bore sighter
The Sight Mark 22 caliber bore sighter work great you have to make sure the bore light stays in there all the way tight I have a lever action so I was able to close the bolt gently and keep light pressure on the laser be careful it’s a delicate instrument and it got me in the back at 25 yards I have several optics and red dots from sight mark they make quality products at reasonable prices

I tried several others. This is the one.
I tried the magnetic kind that go outside the bore, (don't bother wasting your time on that! They scratch your gun, overpriced, and inaccurate). This product however works great, it is plug and play. It does seem to aim high, but I don't know if it's due to bullet drop or physics. Aside from that, side to side it is centered, and I like that you can turn it on and off by the switch. I would have liked to have had a thicker cable, but I haven't had any issues. I tried cheap laser sighters, I tried really expensive laser sighters, and they all failed terribly. This is the one that was just right in terms of consistency and functionality. I wish I'd tried it first, it would have saved me a lot of time and effort!

Best Reasonably Priced Boresight For .22 Caliber
I bought a competitor's boresight that is similarly priced. True, it does "get you on paper" but is very inaccurate. (Example.. When you turn it in the end of the firearm it traces a circle on the target. If it were accurate it would be a pinpoint.) You will find this is much more accurate, as it sits in the bore ahead of the action. I would recommend not attempting to put the bolt of a bolt action gun in place. The laser cartridge excludes light leaks while it is in the bore and is much brighter than the other product. I checked aim on my Ruger American Rimfire Compact and my Henry Golden Boy in bright daylight. A word about using it on lever or semiautomatic actions is that the action must be open. I did not find the necessary wire and battery case aggravating. I am very pleased with this.

Sort of works
So this thing is a great idea in concept. Was looking forward to zeroing my new scope before wasting a box of ammo trying to even get the thing on paper. Unfortunately it's kind of a poor execution in practice. Firstly it's very difficult in my semi auto rifle to get this into the barrel. It just BARELY fits and I have to use a pair of hemostats to get it lined up. Secondly it has a ridge on it that doesn't sit exactly flush with the end of barrel. So I installed it and then I get a fuzzy half moon shaped light coming out the other end. I have to lock the action back, and then fiddle around with it until I get a solid laser dot. VERY carefully don't move anything and then zero the scope to the dot. I was hoping this laser would load like a bullet and sit snug in the barrel. That is just not the case. I have seriously considered returning it, but unfortunately I don't see anything that is much better of an option. I can't bore site the gun as I can't see down the barrel with the action removed. Just the way my gun is designed. So I give it three stars. It sort of works but it's not exactly what I expecting. It's very fiddly and hard to install and remove. It has to be aligned just so for it to actually project a solid dot through the barrel of the gun.

Good boresight for .22LR or .22 WMR rifle.
This little boresight is awesome! You have to take your time and be patient. I placed it in my Savage Arms to sight in my scope and it is a little difficult to get in and out of the chamber, but patience is a virtue. Once I got it in and placed the laser on the bulls eye at 25 yards, sighting in my scope was a breeze. I used it to sight in my new Nikon P-RIMFIRE BDC 150 reticle scope and had it sighted in at 25 yards in 2 shots and less than 10 minutes. I spent more time putting the boresight in and removing it than I did sighting in the scope. The laser is bright and easy to see at 25 yards. I will be using this to sight in another Nikon scope on my Ruger 10/22. Well worth the $, and although I have not used the mini boresight that looks like a thermometer, I can say that this type seems easier and more accurate to me if you just need a boresight for .22 LR or .22WMR. I like it. You have to be careful not to pull on the cord or slam it in the action when placing it in and taking it out but like I said, "with patience", it works great.

Produit correct.
