G-Tube Holder

My husband used these for a few months while he had a stomach tube. It fit around his waist under his clothes so that nothing was visible. The square shape of the storage pocket was a tight fit for the length of his tube and caused him occasional pain at the exit site, so a rectangular shape might have suited his needs better. It was machine washable and dryable.

Does the job, but need to handwash, as it is fragile, soft material. Not sure this can be changed, because it needs to be soft against the skin, which is good.

The first GJ feeding tube I had was a long-styled MIC* tube, and I frequently complained of pain just from the sheer weight of what we began referring to as my "mace ball". This was a life-saver! Now I have a button, but I still use this sometimes to hold onto the excess tubing if I have to leave the house. It's very soft and adjustable to pretty much any size. The velcro sticks quite well and the square itself is very thick, absorbent material that does a great job of catching any stray stoma leakage. (I recommend still using gauze or a tube pad, though, and only count on the holder as a backup, otherwise you'll have to wash this every day you wear it.)I've already sent about 6 of my fellow tubies to this page to buy this amazing product.Would also work for a GJ tube or a J tube.

It is okay but would be more user friendly if the pouch for storing the tube was just a little larger - maybe an inch. You really have to fold the tube tightly to make it fit.

It arrived on time and I thought for the price it should have been more durable. The tube leaked out on it and I threw it in the washer and it nearly came apart. The next time it needs it I will wash it out by hand. It still works for what it was intended just doesn't look to pretty.

The elastic tends to either be way too tight, as to cause a indentation in the skin. Or it's loose & moves all over, pulling on the feeding tube. There seems to be no way to have it stay in place, without causing pain. It was a good idea, just doesn't work.

g tube was a little to long to fit nice
