Great product. Would buy again.
I would definitely recomend this set of h10-60's. The fit is comfortable, the sound is good, mic works well, and they're built like tanks. Just wrap the cord around them and toss them in your bag. No worries. This set of Clark's will probably offer you years of reliable performance. I'm pleased with my set. Shipping was prompt and the product arrived as advratised.

DC H10-60 is a good option
The David Clark H10-60 is an excellent option for those willing to spend the $300ish on a new headset (purchased mine for $250 used). For a new pilot of only two months its perfect. Comfortable, not too much weight on the neck, breathable for the ears with the cloth covers. (not sure if those are standard or are an extra deal) Sound quality is superb, and microphone picks up just about everything if positioned right. Only quibble would have to be the adjustment setup for the head size. It't not a big deal, but I can't seem to set the size, so as I put on the headset I have to fudge with it a bit to get it just right at the start of every flight. Not a big deal for most people, but when you're paying for the plane by the hour every bit of speed helps. As with every David Clark quality is for sure. Consider this headset as an option when looking over any other make or model.

Classic David Clark Quality.
This is the first headset I got when getting into aviation. I bought it for the price and was lucky to find out what a quality headset it is. The gel earcups are comfortable for flights of multiple hours, it sits firmly on head without having the clamping that leads to fatigue. It is slightly on the heavier side, but to me that means sturdy and well built which it is. This is one of the nicer models by the age old David Clark headset maker, and I highly recommend these for any beginner or seasoned pilot

David Clark passive headset
Very comfortable for long flights. The mic does a good job in a noisy environment. I don't think you could beat this for a passive headset. I also have a Lightspeed active noise cancelling headset and it does take out more of the low frequency noise, but you have the batteries to keep fresh and I had issues with the tiny wires in the cord breaking. One thing to be aware of... the DC passive headset does NOT have a cell phone connector if that is important to you.

Scrappy sound quality
I purchased this headset in August 2009 and quite frankly it's not a comfortable headset to wear while out flying. It does not come with any noise cancellation, so your ears gets really beaten up by the outside noise (engine).I used it until October 2010, but right before one of my checkrides with the FAA I chose to buy the new headset from Bose - Bose Aviation A20 with bluetooth and noise cancellation. Quite more expensive but it will last for a life time.If you're new in aviation and just started out, don't buy a headset without noise cancellation - that should be your first priority when buying an aviation headset.

No more headaches
This headset really rocks, for me this is one of the most comfortable headset which i ever used...i made tons of flights with this but never had a pain, if you can afford more to buy digital noise cancelling one, buy it..but at this price range this would be a good choice...
