Fusion MS-AM702 2 Channel 140 Watt Compact Marine Amplifier

I use this in my boat to power two 6.5" speakers. For audio in, I use a Bluetooth gateway that pairs with my phone. So, no stereo per say, but I can control everything from my phone; Pandora, mp3s... what ever I want. Easy.It is a Class D amplifier, so lower power draw (and low heat generation). Seems very waterproof, but I won't know for quite some time as it is only exposed to humidity. For the 6.5" speakers (fusion as well) it gets plenty loud. I'm not trying to blast it, but can turn it up and hear it while running. Have not gotten to full volume yet.Auto-on auto-off is a great feature. When I stop playing through the Bluetooth, it powers down. Start to play and it fires right up.This is intended as a zone amplifier for an extra set of speakers. I'm sure it would work great for that too.My set up hides this and the only thing you need is your phone (any Bluetooth device would work).--- September 10th, 2014 ---Still going strong and I'm very glad I went this direction.

I recently paired this amp with a previously installed Fusion RA70. Before the RA70 was clipping audio at about 65% volume level. Installed this little thing and WOW!! No more clipping and I'm reaching way more sound at 50% volume level. I'm simply amazed at how clean the RA70 now sounds. I'm using 4 Cerwin Vega xm65 speakers that were fairly inexpensive. Great purchase for now. Let's see how long it lasts in the salt air environment.

Excellent waterproof amplifier provides clear sound and simple to install. I purchased this to install outdoor sound on my patio. For a power supply I got  VideoSecu 12V DC 500MA Regulated CCTV Camera Power Supply AC to DC Power Adapter 1AR  and cut off the connector. Then used my volt meter to confirm the polarity of the wires.For line in, this unit uses female RCA connectors. So for my Apple Airport Express I got a simple mini stereo to male RCA connector hooked into this and now I can play music from iTunes to my patio.This unit turns on and off automatically when it detects activity. This means that there is no fuss with it and it can be installed out of sight.This amplifier does cut out when you jack up the volume real high. But that is not what you want on your patio (at least not what your neighbors want). For outdoor sound, this is a perfect amplifier in my experience.

I love this little amplifier. It mounts easily in just about any location I installed it underneath the center console of my flats boat with the Bluetooth adapter now my iPhone controls my tunes through Pandora with no need for a head unit. It's not a very powerful amplifier but it drives my 6 x 9 JBL speakers plenty good enough except when running 30 or 40 mph you cannot hear tunes at those speeds. If you want to bump the neighborhood you will want a larger amplifier but this thing has plenty of sound to park on the beach and still hear the music plus it drawssuch little power I don't need a second battery and never worry about draining my battery to the point that my boat won't start

I just got a new fusion system that can put out 4 zones but needs an amp for more than two. I just needed an RCA cord (to connect this to the system) and this gave me the third zone that I wanted. I set the limit for that zone on the amp and tucked the whole thing behind the system since I don't need access often and the blue light was too bright.

This worked perfectly to amplify the third zone on my new fusion stereo. For some reason the stereo only amplified the first two zones. It was very easy to install.

I was able to drive a pair of Polk 6x9's with some great sound output. Clipping occurred pretty quick with higher volumes, but then again this amp only provides 33W RMS for 2ohm speakers. Amazingly small, I almost refused the package when I saw the size of the box. Not many amps out there in this price range with an IPS rating of 65.

Good good this Fusion company makes some darn good stuff. i think we should take note from the Aussies. They are smart people with great ideas!!

Amazing little amp, I have it fitted to my quad with the Bluetooth receiver and it sounds great excellent value and quality build.
