Functional for drip irrigation system
I use the faucets for my drip irrigation system in my vegetable gardens. No leaks this year. Didn’t want a metal base faucet to water my vegetables this year and gave these a try. 1/2” threads are compatible with my sprinkler risers in size so the threads matched perfectly. You have to snug up the nut on top and use Teflon tape to prevent any leaks though. Since my irrigation system is only active when the system is watering the gardens then these faucets are not under pressure all the time. Only when watering. The only other option is to use a brass faucet and didn’t want to leach and metal chemicals into my soil. So far so good. At the end of each year I take the faucets off and just cap each supply to keep them out of winter weather. That way they last longer. Overall they are working like planned and not lurching any chemicals into my soil verified with a soil test. They work great for drip irrigation requiring a faucet connection

All-Plastic, Non-Metallic Valve I'm Using For Low Pressure Pool Tap
This all-plastic hose bib has been installed outdoors in the blazing Arizona sun for precisely four hours so far. But it's doing what I want: bleeding a low flow of pool pump water out to a solar heating system which then flows back into the pool.I wanted a non-metallic valve because pool plumbing is all plastic due to pool chemistry. This valve goes from closed to full open in one turn. It's not a ball valve. So far, no leaks. But then again it's only operating at pool-pump pressures of around 18 psi.Not sure what kind of seal the internals have. Have not unscrewed the large nut under the handle. Gate valve style? Standard rubber washer against a seat? Not sure. Early on it's very smooth. Time will tell as calcium build-up takes its toll. The metal ball valves in hose "Y" fittings really take a beating with our water. Deposits collect on the metal balls after a very few months being in the same position such that they barely function, even with pliers. (Remind me to cycle my angle stops under each sink, just so they will work later!)As it's in direct sun, I'm going to paint it to add a layer of longevity protection. The 3/4" pipe threads fit easily into a matching female fitting. In fact, I had to wrap many turns of Teflon tape around these threads to get a tight fit as just a few turns allowed me to bottom out the threads into the female fitting. More Teflon tape tightened up the fitting nicely and allowed me to position the valve in the upright orientation. The hose tightened onto the bib outlet fine with no leaks. For less than $5 this really solved a problem for me. Arrived rapidly and installed flawlessly.

Celcon outdoor faucet for a home, will crack! We have to cover our (metal) faucets in winter?
The seller refunded my money and asked me not to return it. That's very kind of the seller but I'm very concerned about that.I bought this c e l c o n/hose bib Valve Male Thread Connection, for our outside wall. That stays outside all year long. We are advised to cover all pipes outside in the winter when it gets below 31 degrees. Sometimes it stays there for a few days, Middle Georgia USA. I have no experience with this c e l c o n. My father would have never used it he installed everything, he owned a professional RefrigerationCompany, for big Companies equipment of all kinds large packing houses to a small reach-in in a grocery store absolutely no air conditioning with that company he owned. He owned an air conditioning company also new installation 2 old stinky repairs. This vavle looks Gray I read all the descriptions, I skipped over the word Celcon new word for(silicone). Bad news.

Ok, it's plastic, but......
After looking all over for 'vintage' pieces to add to my steampunk closet designs, I decided these are the best 'bang for the buck'. They are plastic and appear durable but may be questionable for actual water delivery. They can be painted or 'antiqued' and come out looking quite good for vintage applications. I am currently working on a version that has a light bulb affixed to the spout and the handle is the on/off switch. With plastic there is little worry of shorts. Plastic is also very easy with which to work, whether threading or gluing.

Pleased, good value
Looks like it’s made of metal, but is actually made of plastic.

Well Made - Slow Flow When Fully Opened
I bought this for a DIY chicken coop watering system. I used this along with a bucket and a bulkhead adapter (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EUG9PU/) to run a hose to my run of poultry nipples. The spigot is well made and does not feel flimsy for being made totally of plastic. My biggest problem is that when opened fully, the water only trickles out. This is OK for my application but if I needed a faster flow rate this would not have worked.
