Se7en a masterpiece, one of david finchers finest achievements 👏 buuuuut..... this is cancelled!
Lol at the reviews! This is cancelled, the steelbook and digipack that released some months back are what replaced this and tbh I'm sad about that as this had 2 editions that both looked great! The film is a masterpiece and among finchers finest, there's nothing slow about it either! Ignore this listing as it won't ever see the light of day ( Google it )

The set has not been released yet
The set has not been released yet. Why are reviews allowed? They can't help customers as reviewers posting five or four stars are praising something they never had and don't have. I can say one thing about an item I don't have: This set is ridiculously expensive. You can rent the film for £3.49 on Prime Video. All those comic books etc in the set will never make from Seven what the film is definitely not: Some classical masterpiece .Seven is just another gruesome, graphic film for a mainly young audience numbed by too many internet, intolerant political ideological etc. Scandinavian noir did much better than Seven.

A very old film buy today's standards.
The plot of this film is about these two main policemen tracking down this American serial killer. The policemen are played by a young Brad Pitt, and a much older by this time, Morgan Freeman. Who at the time this film was made was becoming a big name in several films, after this seven film was released. This is quite a dark thriller with a strong performances from the actors and the serial killer, in this film is played by Kevin Spacey. At the time of the films initial release it, was a highly overrated film when all it was about was these two American cops in the film, This film doesn't feature much in the way of action scenes it's a dialogue heavy film with some thriller moments thrown in. This film was probably better at the time of it's initial release in 1995.Needless to say I think today's under 25 market would find this seven film a incredible slow moving film. Most of todays cinema audience where born after this seven film was released in 19995. It does have some gruesome scenes in this film which work to this films better effective. Personally, i never saw what the big deal was about this film at the time of released, since then I have seen it on DVD and i still stand by that original decision.

What's in the box?
I find it strange when people come on here to review something that's not been released but to answer the 1-star review:I can't see anything saying why they'll limit the release, as it's not limited editionYou can't rip off an edition when you own the film - and Manta agreed to be a licensee for a product (i.e. in this case agreed with WB that they'll sell their titles in line with their releases) which is what have done all some major production companies (let alone based in a different country) The reality is that most 'small' releases will have this kinda thing in place. Welcome to the party, pal!IT'S SE7EN, it's gonna be magnificent like this.

Odd release dates
Just to add to what Dan B has said....Why review a special edition with 1 star just because it's similar (yet cheaper) to a previous edition. It makes no sense to me at all. I can only assume that user is a bit miffed having weighed out on the Manga set to have this come along a little while later. Thems the breaks. My only slight concern is that at the time of writing, the US version has a release date of 12th Jan '24, yet this UK edition is still shown as arriving in December '24. It looks like an error, but it's one that has been that way for some time now and we're only a week away from the US release date. Very odd. [EDIT - the US release date has now been bumped to 3rd May 2024. Warner Bros still show it as a December release].Whenever it comes, I still think the current RRP is a bit high (£79.99), but I'll still buy it and it's not far off other similarly specced 4K Special Edition sets. Looking forward to it.

Manta Lab
They obviously haven't set a limit on how many they'll create, and it's a rip off of Manta Lab's version, just way worse.
