These cups work great with the feeding ledge. I feel better about them being eco friendly.

I use this because I feel terrible using so many plastic cups and I dont want to scrub a tiny metal cup. I have done both scenarios and you could probably just toss this whole think with old gecko paste right into your compost. It holds up well to mixing and it doesnt absorb the moisture from the food.

They work great as a replacement for the plastic cups, and being biodegradable is way nicer than the other plastic cups. The only flaw (which I didn't dock any stars for) is that they seem to absorb water from the gecko food, They do not get soggy or anything, my food just dries out faster than usual.

I was using the clear plastic cups to feed my crested geckos. I would wash the cups in the dishwasher and reuse them. Then, I bought some 3-D printed cups in different colors and washed in the dishwasher. Those had little grooves in the bottom and were harder to clean.I tried these cups and they are the best! I have a gecko who wouldn't always eat and he stays fairly thin. Now he's eating really well! I never would have guessed that the cups made a difference. He is putting on a little weight, which is amazing.I have all bioactive enclosures, so I put a used one in the enclosure for the clean up crew and I compost the rest. It's so nice not washing the plastic cups. Now I don't worry about my gecko not eating, which is the main reason I will continue to buy these.

Perfect disposable food bowl for gecko

These are the best cups for disposable use. I have an off the wall holder for food and water. The cups that are available are usually too small or shallow. These fill up the whole holder and are biodegradable. That also means you need to switch out the cup every couple days otherwise it will get soggy. Highly recommend.

I have been using this product for about a year, and really like the convenience. I use this for my crested gecko with an automatic misting system, and the cups hold up for the day or two that they are in the enclosure. I did notice that the cup does tend to absorb some of the moisture from the food mix, so I usually just add a bit of extra water if I am putting the food out early.I am lucky to have a composting service, but in general they may be a bit more wasteful than just reusable cups. I do think they are nice to have on hand, and it does make taking care of your pet a lot quicker and easier, especially for pet sitters.

The concept for these is great. I LOVE that theyrr biodegradable. I wish we could utilize them. However, I live in a VERY dry climate (around 30% on average) so the water dries out twice as fast due to it also absorbing partially into the cup. They don't last long.. you can't resuse them once they get soaked, which happens after about 2 days. So we go through these much faster. I don't feel guilty tossing them out, but they run out too quickly.As awesome as a lifted magnet ledge is, I'm considering just going back to milk jug lids. Less waste and cost.
