Old Testament Essentials: Creation, Conquest, Exile and Return (The Essentials Set)

Thought provoking questions. Learning a lot about the O.T.

Clear and accessible, as are this author's other works. The book is divided into separate lessons with questions/exercises, etc. that are better written than most. I'm not familiar with the "Essentials" series, but apparently this is de rigeur for books that belong to this connection. This would work well for a small group or class study and helps demystify the Old Testament—something badly needed in the age of limited Bible literacy.
