Perfectly minimal cable management
I love the functionality and look of this cable manager!I bought this product to prevent my phone and watch cables from sliding around on my nightstand when I placed my devices on their wireless chargers. I love wireless charging, but I disliked how my devices and cables would always slide around and sometimes fall to the side or behind my nightstand when I would quickly plop them down. This cable manager does exactly the trick, and keeps both chargers in place and close together at all times. The other aspect that I like about this product is that it uses suction instead of glue or tape that could damage the finish on my nightstand. I also didn't like the idea of something I could only place once. I had doubts about the effectiveness of "microsuction." I was pleasantly surprised by both the weight of the device and the suction. The suction makes it feel 3 or 4 times heavier than it really is, and yet it is still easy enough to pick up and move to another corner of my nightstand or use elsewhere in the house—with no damage to the wood underneath! Finally, I am really picky about the aesthetic of a cable manager. (If it's going to make cables look less messy, it better look good doing it!) I go for a clean, minimal look. Even though this is maybe a touch larger than I would've preferred, it has a modern, simple look that doesn't add to the clutter. Exactly what I was looking for.One last thing to note: I'd say this really can only handle 2 medium-sized cords possibly up to 4 if they're very thin in the channels on the underside of the cable manager. So you're not going to be able to organize a rat's nest of tangled wires with this. However, if you have 2-3 essential cables you use on a nightstand or at your desk, this is perfect.

Amazing
I bought this thing nearly 5 years ago and it's just now starting to lose its stickiness (in its defense, I haven't been very good about regularly cleaning the feet). I've had to pick it up multiple times to replace cords, and every time I was amazed at what sorcery was involved that made it stick back on just as effectively as the first time. At maximal stickiness, it's immovable for intended purposes (holding cords. You obviously can wrench it off if needed to change cords with great effort (but doesn't damage surface underneath)). The top gets scratched up pretty easily for those wanting a sleek clean look, but all I care about is functionality. Now that the stickiness seems to be dying, I'm looking around for a replacement but it seems everything else has complaints either about not staying put or not holding cords (the two most desired traits in a "cord holder"). I think the best answer is to buy another Sumo. A 5-year lifespan seems like excellent value for the price.

Simple and Practical
When I was looking at the Blue Lounge Sumo, I was also looking at the Quirky Cordies. Now, I ended up getting both, and I like each for separate uses, but let me highlight a few things about the Sumo.1.) It's simple. The logo is cleanly embossed, and the simple design of this piece does not detract from any surrounding decor. It blends into a dark night stand or desk, and it matches up well with electronic components.2.) It's functional. As others have noted, it's basically a suped-up paperweight; except, instead of holding paper, it holds cables. I use mine for keeping the charging cables for my iPhone 4s and bluetooth headset from sliding off the back of my nightstand, and it takes care of those in a manner that puts it beyond reproach.3.) It's divided. There are two separate channels, separating whatever two cables you might decide to run under it, which also aid it in retention of a single, smaller, cable, should one choose to have such a setup.4.) It only has two channels. Those two channels, which I described above, are great for those who only have two cables, and I knew that before buying it. However, if one wished to retain a third, they would run into some issues. That's why I couldn't rate them five stars. If you did need more cables, I'd consider something like the Quirky Cordies I mentioned. This just happens to look a lot cleaner if you are able to keep your cables to two.

It's a paperweight too and I love it
So literally this device is just a small glossy black paperweight with a rubberized bottom and grooves on the underside to hold down two wires. It doesn't sound like much, but it looks pretty slick considering it's just a little black square, and yet it's perfect for what I needed it for. I have a USB hub on my desk and a couple of wires I leave permanently connected. They sort of lay where ever they want on my desk and kind of get in the way of my mouse occasionally. So all I needed was exactly this, a paperweight to hold the wires down and not look totally unattractive. So it turns out this little guy did the trick. I may in fact get another two or three for other desks where I have similar wire situations. As far as paperweights go that can also hold a couple of wires in place, I like it. I

Great for Cable management
These heavy Sumo paperweights work great at routing keyboard and mouse cables on my desk. I’m using four of them on my desk at the moment highly recommend them.

These things are great. I have a half dozen or so of them. They stick really well to the table, counter or desk top, yet come off without marring the surface and can be relocated easily. If the device becomes less sticky, they say you can use tape to remove any dust or whatever and it will be good as new. I've never tried this, but I'm sure it works. I bet washing with dish soap and water would work too, but I haven't tried it. The channel through the device is divided in two, and wires stay in place, but you can still carefully pull them through for adjustments as long as the channels aren't too crowded. I personally have never seen a similar product that worked as well.
