Great Concept! Well-made, and Portable! ...a little on the heavy side (18 pounds)
Great concept and execution! This portable, height adjustable laptop desk is an outstanding addition to the world of adjustable desks. This would be an excellent gift for a businessperson who travels but prefers a standing desk at the office. It would work nicely at a hotel, coffee shop, etc. Perhaps not great for flying though. The nice part about this is the ease of adjustment and the locking mechanism which allows for several height positions. It's also very sturdy and large enough to hold a 17 inch laptop. The 15 inch laptop fits nicely with room for an external USB mouse beside the computer. I do wish it had a carrying case with a shoulder strap, but perhaps I'm asking too much for the price. Also, while sturdy, it is also a little heavy at 18 pounds, which is not exactly light and easy to carry, especially for people with back, shoulder, arm, or hand issues. However, if it were much lighter, I don't know that I would trust it to securely hold an expensive laptop. This is well made and well thought out. Way to go Supermoon.

A bit rickety, despite its heft
This came with a handle, but you won't want to carry it anywhere because it's heavy. Decently heavy. Heavy enough you would think it's sturdy to use, but it's not really.I give one star because there's no room for your mouse. There's no point in standing if you can't mouse. The area has barely room for a monitor and a keyboard (if you're old school) or a laptop (again, you get no mouse room) and raising it up and down is kind of tricky. Watch your fingers or you may well pinch them and while you're lowering and raising, your computers will not be stable at all. There's no fluid flow.

Not What I Expected
This item is not what I expected. When it says it can adjust to any height, I expected something that could be used standing up or from a chair. Instead, I guess it is intended to be used on a desk or table, to provide an elevated platform. So, I don't have much use for it. In addition, it has extremely sharp corners, I'm talking very sharp and dangerous. We put some protective corners for babies on the corners of it. They look ridiculous, but at least people are no longer getting injured by it. Overall, not impressed.

See in in Action
The media could not be loaded. This desk is okay--but I was hoping for a more stable surface. This one wobbles more than I like--especially when it is raised up to its two tallest settings. Perhaps this is common with adjustable surfaces like this. The bottom piece is heavy so I'm not concerned that I'll push it over. I just don't like much the top moves around. Please view the video for my complete review. Also please note that in the video the stand is on a small desk but it wobbles just as much when it is placed on a heavy table or even the floor.

Pleasantly surprised! I love this thing. Really well made and does the job!
I found this at HomeGoods for $49.99 and I wasn’t shopping for it at all. But I had been looking for a solution for my work for a while, so this instantly peaked my interest. I have a large standing desk in my cube at work, but since it weighs a TON, it’s not really portable. With my job, I spend a lot of time in a co-located team room that changes from project to project, so I’m not in my cube all the time. And these team rooms are not remotely ergonomic, so I was looking for a well made “portable” standing desk solution for when I have to work there, that was also inexpensive, since I already had another larger, fancy standing desk.It is heavy to carry (about 18 lbs), but does have a handle. It might not be heavy for a man or someone larger than I am. (I’m 5’ 5”, but very petite). However, it’s infinitely more portable than my other one which weights a TON! However, it would be too heavy to carry to a different spot everyday, but for a set up you’ll have for several weeks, it works well.It doesn’t have a very big footprint, which I like, and seems very well made. I think the reason that it’s heavy is that it needs to be to be stable. Some reviewers said it is wobbly but I didn’t notice that. If I push hard enough, of course it’s going to wiggle, but with regular use, it seems extremely stable to me. It also looks really elegant, and has a really nice design - fairly minimal I think for what it needs to do.I have a 15-inch MacBook Pro and there’s enough room for a mouse to my right. Additionally, I can use a metal laptop stand (that props up the laptop so the monitor is higher) with it and that leaves room for a Mac keyboard and mouse, and the whole thing still feels really stable.I also really like that it has so many height settings, so if I’m in a tall chair, or using it at a tall table, there are plenty of options to find the right height.Overall, I’m super pleased with this thing, and I went in kind of skeptical. And I’m also a designer, so I’m pretty picky. I got the black one with matte aluminum arms, as it was the only color available - I would have preferred the all aluminum one - but I actually looks really elegant.Overall this thing is really well made, and well designed. If you’re looking for something that you can carry with you from meeting to meeting, this isn’t for you, as it’s too heavy. But if you need something portable in the sense that you will keep it up for a few weeks at a time, then move it somewhere else, this is great. It will also fold away easily, when you don’t need it anymore. You can fold it flat and lean it against the wall or slide it under your desk. I kind of love this thing.

Stand Up and Get to Work
This is the first adjustable desk I've had like this that allows you to stand if you want. It worked as expected and is very well-made. Extremely durable. I'm well pleased with how easy it is to use and can adjust to your height and needs. I wish the surface space was just a bit bigger, but am pleased with the device overall.

Varying heights
Not all of these are the same, I bought 4 and none had the same height levels. It varies by about a half inch. If youre just buying one it doesnt matter.

Okay standing laptop desk
I have had a couple of standing desks. I’m happy to see one that is made specifically for laptops. This one adjusts to four different heights. It’s actually wonderful to be able to stand up and work at your desk for a while. I’m stuck at a desk all day long, and sitting all day is not good for the health. I was hoping this stand would be a bit more sturdy than it is. To be fair, I’m hard on my items. But this desk tens to wobble a bit when I have it at its tallest setting. I see there are several five stars reviews for this item, so maybe it’s just my particular desk. This thing is heavy and will take up a lot of space on the desk but it is fairly sturdy, and doesn’t wobble at the lower settings. I’ve only had the wobble issue when I have it at its tallest height.
