These sunglasses really are a fantastic product and excellentlly made. They look superb but more importantly the fit is perfect. I have the average head size for a 5' 8" bloke.I need a quality pair of sunglasses for work as I do a fair amount of driving plus a lot of time in fields especially when it's sunny so a good fit is very important. These dont dissapoint. They're also such good quality and the wooden arms are so smooth and comfortable I almost dont want to take them off.With regards to the vision then they are doing exactly what I expect them to do and cut out so much glare from the sun. The best way to describe them is if you try to look at the sun reflecting off car a windscreen when driving it's impossible, but with these glasses the glare dissaperas completely and the sun appears as a small blueish ball.They come with a cloth pouch but a really nice touch is the wooden carrying box. Probably too big for some people to carry round but not a problem for myself.The only slight criticism which I suspect might have casued some to write a negative review is that when the glases arrived one of the lenses had slightly popped out of the frame. I popped it back in without a problem and it has happened since. Had it not gone back in I would have contacted the company but not a problem as it was rectified in a couple of seconds.Overall, great value for money.

These are the first sunglasses I've had which I use all the time, they look great, and they're excellent protection for your eyes too. I was heartbroken when one of the arms broke at the hinge, and I had to quickly buy a cheap pair from the chemists. They just couldn't compare to the GOWOOD pair.I contacted GOWOOD's customer support, hoping I could pay for a repair. Instead, Ralf from GOWOOD sent me a new pair, with the new stronger hinges, and check up later that I'd got them and that I was happy too. You couldn't ask for better customer support!

The glasses are great, quite dark lenses which I like but I didn’t like the wooden box they were in. Every time I opened or closed it it nipped my fingers ouch!! Not a biggie just use another case.

These look and feel far more expensive than the asking price. Very pleased.Presentation case, being made out of wood makes them perfect as a gift.The lense quality, I have no complaints, vision is clear and it's reassuring to see they have proper CE certification.I hope in the future they will make fully wooden sunglasses.

always a bit wary of buying sunglasses, guess i dont have a head for them but these really do look good and fit really well even on my big head! I had read reviews of how comfortable the wooden arms are and they really are compared to plastic alternatives, bought the dark walnut and definitely considering a second pair with maybe a bit more colour for the beach :)

This paragraph is for the replacement pair:I absolutely loved the first pair and when they broke (totally my fault) I immediately went back to my orders from almost 2years prior to buy a replacement. But the replacement is slightly wider and always fall off my head if I’m resting them or down my nose if I’m wearing them but turn quickly or look down. As such, the lenses have marks and scratches because they spend as much time on the ground as in my head. Very disappointed after being totally satisfied with my first pair. :(Been wearing these every day for about 3 weeks on holiday now. Worth every penny. Great tint and lenses which have survived without a hint of a scratch where inferior glasses would have picked up a nick. At this stage I’d definitely buy another pair if I lost these.

Really love these sunglasses. They give a good amount of protection, look very stylish, and are comfortable to wear while driving/walking.

I like the design verify much and these are really my glasses. However the black coating seems not to survive sunscreen and sweat and comes off in the end which doesn't look good and, surprisingly, not black. Bad quality indeed. Have a look at the photos.

Die polarisierte Sonnenbrille hat sehr schöne Holzbügel und durch das schlichte Schwarz in der Front, immer schick und passt zu jedem Outfit im Sommer. Sie ist außerdem sehr stabil und hält es auch mal aus, wenn man sie fallen lässt oder sich gar auf sie setzt, zudem ist sie sehr kratzfest und robust. Sie schützt das Auge sehr gut vor den UV-Strahlen und das lästige Augen-kniepen hat ein Ende.

Have bought three pairs to date (lost two pairs), ebony wayfarers. Quality! Polarized lenses, anti-reflection coating, spring-hinges, sturdy temples, comfortable bridge - and a nice custom box. Lenses on my current pair got really scratched up, so I emailed the company and was able to buy a new set of lenses. Got them today, and they threw in a custom Gowood sunglasses carrying case for free! (Hopefully I can remember to use it to keep those lenses from getting scratched again.) Great product, great company.

The sunglasses really are as awesome as all the reviews say. The wooden box it comes in really is beautifully overkill, they fit comfortably, the wood is very smooth, and most importantly the polarization is awesome.The lenses ARE a bit darker than other sunglasses I've had (ie. Raybans), and I was a bit worried they may be a bit too dark for driving but that is not the case, at least in sunny weather. The lenses really enhance contrast as you can see from one of the photos I uploaded with the yellow flowers. And actually the darkness is quite nice because it makes my eyes feel very comfortable on a sunny day.I was so impressed by the quality and attention to detail these sunglasses have, and the fact that it's a family-owned Canadian company, that I immediately bought another pair for myself (one to leave in the car, one to leave at home for walks) and my dad.My only concern is that on the amazon.com website there are some reviews that show that the lens coating peeled or the wooden arm snapped in half unexpectedly. But in all those scenarios it seems that GoWood promptly sent them a replacement pair, so customer service is top notch. I mean, if you can't help but have a few faulty sunglasses be sent out, the next best thing you can do is have incredible customer service, right?Anyway, I have no idea how they are selling these for $50, I highly recommend giving them a shot if you're interested.

Rarely do I ever leave reviews but this DESERVE IT!Right when I opened the box, the unboxing experience was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I thought it was gimmicky at first but once I got through all the papers, bubble wrap and finally got my hands on the sunglasses, I was quite impressed by the build quality. Once I wore it on, it fit like a glove and I do have a big head so I have to say that the fit is quite versatile for other people. The polarized lens feels a bit more on the cooler side in comparison to my old RayBans.Is it worth it? Most definitely! It’s got a unique look while the fit feels familiar. I’m extremely happy with this product! Don’t hesitate to get one for you or a gift to someone.

I'm a lifelong Maui Jim and Revo customer. They're all I've ever worn. But after buying a pair of Go Wood sunglasses, I feel like I'm in some exclusive club of super smart shoppers! Not only are their sunglasses good quality, a great fit, and awesome looking, they're a fraction of the price of other sunglasses! I'm bummed I didn't know about Go Wood before now. I could not recommend them more. I will never buy overpriced sunglasses ever again. Go Wood from here on out for me.
