This mat should deserve a 5 star rating, it has good suction, it is easy to clean, the lovely colour chosen to fit in with my bathroom scheme. Sadly I feel I can give only 2 stars as the smell that comes off it is very strong. It smells like the rubber gas mask the dentist used to put on my face when I was a child, it is actually nauseating. Not sure what to do about it...so manufacture/retailer do you have any advice? If I can get rid of this awful smell I would amend my rating to 5 star. But if I cannot then I will have to reduce rating to 1 star as it will be thrown in the bin!

If you leave it in the shower, not draining, it will go pink quite quickly. Presumably it will then go black. It's really hard to get the pink stuff off, even with scrubbing. I now drain it and hang it in the airing cupboard. So I'm not sure how it is 'anti-mould'. Otherwise it is good non slip.

I bought this mat to replace one my elderly mother had in her shower cabinet which was no longer sticking to the shower base. This new mat is really good for her as it is much safer as it sticks really well to the surface below. I also bought it because it was a more compact shape instead of a long oblong which I thought would be safer for her. It is a good quality rubber mat and was well packaged and received the next day as I had paid for next day delivery. I had read recommendations before buying so am pleased to add another highly recommended review.

Since buying 2 of these mats it has made both our en-suites much safer to shower, the suction cups hold really well and so far the colour of the mat has not been affected by soapy water, very pleased and a great buy for the price.

I read so many reviews of different shower mats before buying this one and I'm very satisfied with my choice. It fits the shower well, although it does cover the plug hole, making it slow to drain - not a massive issue for me. It grips well and is comfortable to stand on and most importantly I don't feel like I could slip at all on this mat. When I've finished showering I rinse it with the shower hose and stick it to the side of the shower cubicle to drain. I've only been using it for one month and I don't have the mould issues some have reported. I think the fact that I rinse it and stick it to the side of the shower cubicle to dry makes it less likely to get mould, but maybe I'll think differently a year from now. The most important issue for me is that I'm not worried about falling anymore, thanks to this mat, and if that's your issue, then I do recommend this mat.

Put in the base of shower to stop my 2 year old daughter slipping. This product is a disgrace. It very quickly left an indelible yellow stain the size of the mat on our lovely white shower base. The yellow stain is impossible to remove. Now we need to buy a new shower base and pay for it to be fitted. The company that makes this should be closed down as there clearly wasn’t any product testing.A complete waste of money. Avoid. Avoid avoid. Please.
