This book reminds me of the Hints from Heloise column. I found the Strange facts fun. The only thing I wasn't really keen on was that she uses only name brands that aren't necessary (on the cover it mentions using brand name products). For instance, any brand of peanut butter will work to remove tree sap, it doesn't have to be Jif peanut butter. On the whole it was worth the money.

This book is ridiculous, but I had to have it. Now that I know I should lube a snow shovel with Crisco to avoid snow from sticking to the shovel, I am ready to take on anything.While you may never use the majority of the ideas, I guarantee you'll find something you can use within the first 10 minutes of perusing the pages. It's a fun book to have, but I just can't imagine anyone who would use a maxi-pad on the inside of a hat as a sweat band!...page 78.

A very informative read using alot of everyday household items on hand along with being user friendly and eliminating the use of hazardous cleaners...some products use some interesting combinations needless to say but i feel that this book is certainly a worthwhile read and can save you some money overall..

This is a book that you want to have on your shelf to refer back to for all kinds of everyday simple fixes. I have used several and will use many more I am sure.

Joey Green has done it again! He provides you with an encyclopedia of knowledge on ways to fix things with household items.

My brother told me about this book. The format in kindle is a little wonky, but the information is interesting (already cleaned my whirlpool with Cascade!) and I can see referring to it often.

Good ideas...saves time and money!

This is a great book for cleaning and fixing things around the house using typical things that you have. It's more of a reference book; however, it's fun to read and has fun facts in the book about the topic. Highly recommended.
