Strongest story showing D/s; BD driven relationship - realistically done and respectful of the Woman - INTENSE
Excellent writing, characters you can't help connecting with, and plausible background story to connect the VERY hot sex scenes. Typical of ALL this author's work.Kudos.Also, I give my Ghost Pepper Hotness Award for this story, and the rest of this series in general. :-DNOTES for the Morally Concerned (no spoilers). This story has significant emphasis on developing a D/s relationship with the new bride assigned to 2 Prillon Warriors via the interplanetary matching program ... so she isn't 'coerced', she already has the psychological profile to be compatible with her Primary Mate. She has the heart of a natural Sub, and needs the mates to take control...and so the story rolls, until she falls in love and wants them to formally claim her. (HEA ending) YES, there are several spanking scenes, between the mates, and an invasive medical exam scene that could upset some readers since it IS coerced. And adult. (use imagination here)NOTE: sexual acts portrayed include oral, anal, the usual, and then works up to DP in the Claiming Ceremony. Naaaahhhh, I'm NOT spoiling the surprise - read it and find out why they have to do this. ALL scenes are hetero - the Bride is shared by 2 mates.NOTE: there's ZERO degradation of the woman, even in the BDSM scene later near the end. It's realistic, as a Sub and a *good* Dom would act, however - meaning clear and reasonable cause/effect, clear expectations and consent, use of a 'safeword', and mutual caring between these two people. Yes, it's rough sometimes. None of the slave-humilliation-torture stuff that is mentally/physically/spiritually damaging. WHEW. Enjoy the ride, if you dare!NOTE: ZERO substance abuse. NO profanity. NO gratuitous, casual killing. NO infidelity, head games, cheap sex, or devaluation of women. NO forcing sex on women. You'll end up wanting to be matched to Prillon Warriors yourself, after reading a couple stories featuring them. ;-)Yeah: hot, sculpted, gold to copper skinned, 7' tall, generously hung, predatory looking humanoid males that are the lead players in the Galactic War against the Hive. (think Borg)

Love this Book and Series
I am really enjoying this series. This is book 2 of the interstellar Brides series. For some unknown reason I started in the middle of the series and kept reading them to the end and Then realized I hadn’t read any of the first books. So that is what I’m doing now and I am not disappointed. The writing is fantastic, and the descriptions make you feel like you’re right there. Hannah is the first human to volunteer for the interstellar brides. Because of an arrangement with our government we were to send brides out into the universe. The ones that were previously sent were inmates that had a choice, jail or Bride. Hannah had her own reasons for volunteering, even with the information it was still a shock, especially when she realized her chosen mate Zane Deston was not only the largest man (alien) she had ever seen, he is also in charge of all of the fighting warriors and commander of the battleship Deston. The other big surprise was she was not getting just one mate but two. Dare, her second mate was easy to figure out, but if she could not understand and communicate with Zane, it would not work. They finally speak up to each other and find they are the perfect match, only to find out that Dare has gone missing. Awesome book, lots of sexy times, and getting a good look at what the enemy does to their prisoners. Loved the happily ever after.

Out of this world story with a human side
I like to think of myself as a "veteran" of Grace Goodwin's paranormal romances, having read almost every one of her titles on Amazon. Obviously, I think her writing is wonderful; the characters are vivid and the story lines creative and full of detail. This book is as good as the rest. I wanted to rate it only 4 stars, however, because I found myself ready to slap the leading lady. Grace's heroines are kick-a$$ women who take a running leap at happiness by going into galaxies far, far away to be mated to the uh, warriors. Of course, there's some trepidation, maybe a second thought or two, perhaps some nerves. This character, however, is just plain crazy. She has 2 huge, sexy aliens who are devoted to her pleasure and what does she do? She wants to go back to Earth, even though she volunteered to come to space. Arrrrgh!!!The author's artistic choices may have me cringing, but I can't argue that I want to know what's next in the book. Perhaps I just want to see this character get sent back to Earth just like she wants. That would serve her right. Perhaps I am more of a romantic and I want to see if she falls in love with her alien warriors. No matter my motivation, I want to see what happens. This is what makes Grace Goodwin's writing so out-of-this-world (uh, sorry). You may not like the choices that the characters make, but I can guarantee that this book will make you take a stand one way or another. Will you be team Hannah or team Zane? Maybe you'll be routing for Dare. None of the above? The choice is what is important here; the author's, the character's and ultimately, yours.I vote to buy Grace Goodwin another pen so that she can get going on the next book since I should be finishing this one shortly. Brava!

Did not connect with the heroine
The erotica is steaming but it was hard to go through Hannah's inner monologue. I struggle with characters in which their mean characteristics are formed based on being some sort of victim e.g. I don't trust any man because my ex cheated on me. What about some accountability? You are not a victim. You just have bad taste in man. Maybe focus on that? On the general plot, I am a bit puzzled on what does the Second mate get out of the arrangement... I mean, why not go for your own mate and have your own children? I don't think that was well explained at all. I get that women are scarce but it just seems like there is not enough insentive for any of these alpha males to be second to their mate's affections.

Good read
I do enjoy these books, but I do wish the heroine would just tell that they need to explain things rather than expecting her to know what is going on. Why do they always have to get turned on by spanking? Even if they do, they don't have to accept it as a punishment for voicing there wants. Spanking for sexual gratification is different to being hit as punishment. Great series though

Fast paced attraction
Fantasy alien super spank filled hot story set in a spaceship. Pleasable plot & flow to the story thrown in with a villain or two plus the envitable forthcoming space battle. All make believe, a mild Sci-fi domineering romp along, just wanted to finish it quickly so I can start on something more serious.

An easy to read interesting story with lots of fun love and spicy sex.
An adorable hot emotional fun story. This is a full erotic menage sexy story. The characters are well written alive with human alien flaws. I loved the descriptions of the ship, it is vivid. This story has lots of elements from children's antics to BDSM to alien battles. There are spankings and bondage as three learn to be together. I highly recommend it.

Hardly sci-fi
This was not so much a sci-fi read as a BDSM one. The sci-fi elements were minimal and really only present in the first chapter to set the scene. As a BDSM story is was good. There were conflicting feelings, surrender and acceptance between the three main characters. I would have liked an epilogue to round out their story.
