Maybelline New York Eye Studio Color Tattoo Pure Pigments, Buff and Tuff, 0.05 Ounce

This is by far my absolute all time, go to, eyeshadow. I've been obsessed for years. I use this on the outside corners and above my eyelids also on the outer corners blending inwards and downwards. The color is perfect. It gives just the right amount of shimmer without being glittery. It blends super easy. Also, less is more so it goes a long way! I tap my bottle upside down, then right side up, open it, and only use what remains on the lid. That stops you from getting way too much on the brush. 1000% recommend this eyeshadow. For the length of time it takes to run out, the fantastic color and blend-ability I would legit spend $50 for this (and I am CHEAP).

What I really appreciate about this is the unique green shade. I have Hazel eyes and most green shades have a gold base that totally clashes with my eyes rather than accentuating them. This is a cool based green and is very complimentery with Hazel eyes IMHO. It at the same time is neither too drab or shocking. i find this the perfect medium. The color is nicely pigmented and lasts all day w/o creasing, no primer needed. This also works wet or dry as shadow or liner. Using wet provides a more saturated look.

This is my favorite eye shadow. It is very suddle and shimmery. I use it for a natural looking eyeshadow. It has no actual color to it, just a sheer simmer. I like to use a dark brown eyeshadow and apply this on top of the brown for a nice shimmer. I can no longer find this eyeshadow powder in stores and was elated to have found it on Amazon! I will continue to order this product.

I love Maybelline products and have been wearing the color tattoo line for years, specifically the cream eye shadow and Pure Pigments loose powder shadow. Last all day long, doesn't crease or irritate, great selection of matte and shimmer pallets. Only disappointing thing is the color was a good deal lighter than expected. They use to make a copper color that looked exactly like the one pictured and that was my go-to shade so I was thrilled to find it online. When I got this in mail (fairly quickly shipping, fyi) it looks the same color--a shimmery copper--but when applied on skin, it's just a sheer, translucent gold. I tried different ways to make it darker but didn't work. I'm hoping to exchange for different color.

I bought the pink, and going by the image, I thought it would be closer to a hot pink and more highly pigmented. See the first pic for how it looks on my arm. I could barely see it at all on my eyelids, maybe it would be good if you're looking for a pale and subtle pink eyeshadow, but that's not what I thought I was buying.I have used the other Color Tattoo products and was greatly impressed by the ones that are solid (like a gel eyeliner, but I think they are called 24 hour eyeshadow). I bought a metallic dark grey and a bright blue of those products and they really were highly pigmented and lasted a long time. I was less impressed with this powder type, but I also bought the blue (it won't get here until tomorrow) and might update my review to reflect how it compares with this pink.

This is different from the other Color Tattoo that I have bought in the past. I don't know if this is the new product or if they have two kind now but it is messy with powder to shake out of holes in the container and then use a brush on this very loose powder with sparkles in it and put it on your eyelid and it is very messy and hard to use. i think it is a very bad product and I liked the old one or other one, whichever the case may be

My face ends up with a lot of brown powder, the pigment is not great and the color doesn't last.

il prodotto è arrivato nei tempi previsti e ben imballato, peccato che una volta aperto ho scoperto che il colore buff & tuff non fosse come in foto, un bronzo/rame ma in realtà un sabbia dorato. Penso proverò comunque ad utilizzarlo perché comunque sembra un buon prodotto, peccato che la foto sia ingannevole
