Hump Mount Bracket for CB/Ham Radio on Floor Etc. - Workman HUM1

Small in size, big in performance. Sturdy, very well made and thought out. Used it to mount an older YEASU Ham radio in my 2003 S-10 pick-up. Feet are adjustable to fit contour of hump. Instead of screws to floor, I used one side of VELCRO strips to attach to capet pad. Radio display angle fully adjustable between mount angle and additional bracket mounting angle. I was able to set display angle perfectly. Yes, had to drill two new holes in radio bracket to fit to mount but was a minor issue at best!

I purchased this mount for a Yaesu FT-2900 that I wanted to mount in my truck. When I first pulled it out of the box, I thought it must have been a mistake. This mount looks TINY! I mounted it in the truck on the hump and was surprised at how solid it was. it took a little fitting to get the radio on the mount, but it looks great and is stable even on the rough roads. The mount alsost disapears beneath it. If you're on the fence about this one, DO IT! you won't regret it. This is the perfect mount at a great price!

Item works great the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it was smaller than the pictures presents itself. I would have liked for it to be just a little bit larger. But that is only a personal taste. Overall the item works great. I did not have an area to mount by radio under the dash and I did not want to mount it to the side this allowed me to mount my radio where I wanted it with no trouble at all.

Smaller as indicated by other reviews but mounted my mid sized CB on the center hump solidly. Super adjustable and easy to fit to my space, then everything locks in to place securely.

This seems to be a well constructed mount, however it doesn't have nearly the required tilt for the radio to clear the seat.

Mounted my radio on the hump but was a little skeptical due to size! It hasn’t moved even while driving off road. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

Very well built, sturdy bracket. It must be a manufacturers joke. My pictures are of an Cobra 29LTD. The mount is 1/2 the speaker vent (the closest exciting screws) and 1/4 the size of the overall radio. Even though the mount is very strong itself it’s small size means the radio is bouncing and flexing the radio cover. It barely tilts up 25-degrees, or about 1 inch and is useless to tilt the controls and radios towards the operator in a useful manner. No existing screws or mounts, including the speaker screws, possibly line up to the tiny mount requiring the drilling new holes. This mount would be useful only for tiny, lightweight radios and is completely unsuitable for a full size radio.

Purchased the "Hump Mount" bracket for Ham/CB radio last year. I have used the Hump Mount bracket for several months and found it to be very reliable, solid, dependable and durable. The Hump Mount is constructed of heavy metal and is build solidly to last for many years to come. Perhaps, it may even outlive me! I did not secure the Hump Mount to the floor but have it sitting on the carpet of the van. Even during sudden braking and sharp turns, the unit remains steadfast and does not move or rollover. Many of my Ham Radio friends and associates were pleasantly surprised at the quality and inexpensive price of this bracket. I met a gentleman that mounted his base unit on the Hump Mount and secured it with screws to the floor of his trunk - he also was very pleased with this bracket. If you are a Ham or CB Radio operator, then this bracket is excellent for your rig.

Works great. Can leave radio at home in hidden in truck till needed. Then just attached to power/antenna and away you go. Should prevent thefts
