Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for Huawei P30 Case (2019) - Matte Black

Good protection, excellent durabilty. I keep credit cards under this case, open it frequently. And it holds like a new.

I wanted to buy a heavy-duty case, but there simply are not many choices for Huawei P30 at all. I was attracted by the wording of "rugged" in the product description. Honestly I had expected the case to not look that flimsy and light (it's plastic, light plastic). Well, looking not heavy-duty doesn't mean it's not protective enough. I haven't experienced a fall. So I don't know how it can absorb the impact and protect the screen and camera if my phone falls. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Have not dropped my phone yet so I cannot comment on that. The case does come around the screen a tad, so if put your phone face down your screen does not touch the surface. Same thing with the camera. The surface of the case is very slick. I think it will be easy to drop the phone if you do not have a good grip on it. This is the 4th phone case I have bought and the one I am keeping just because it is not flush with the screen or camera.

Great quality as usual with any Spigen product.

My worries about this phone were about the camera, which is propense to scratches without the cover.But once I get the cover, it feels A LITTLE bit more secure, and a little is very much compared to the original P30 cover it comes with.

I am quite disappointed. Used to like Spigen cases a lot but seems that quality decreased. Now it has some mate coating that started peeling off after only a week of use.I cannot return the item because I work on the ship and I wish I can get different model as replacement.

This is the first Spigen case I've bought and I'm really happy with it. It doesn't add too much weight or size to the phone.

Great case, fits perfectly, grippy but not too grippy. Protects camera as well.As hinted about one potential flaw that a few may find, and would be found with most other cases that have a top lip. The gestures on huawei have you swipe from screen edge inwards to go back or home. You can enable traditional buttons at the bottom however I got used to the gestures. With the case on I found it was not registering some swipes back due to the lip. My solution (which some may find offensive!) was to dremel a small groove in the side where my finger natural swiped back. Still need to smooth and polish but first impression is it now works a treat!

German made, so quality is almost guaranteed. Dropped the phone a few times (mainly in some crazy attempt to see if the case works) and seems just fine.Personally have had thinner plastic cases and find they do not protect the phone.Slightly pricey for what it is, but if it keeps the phone pristine then happy to pay.

This is an excellent phone case. So far it's protected my phone from a couple of drops and bumps, and I feel a lot better about having my phone around when I'm doing something like a workout. The material provides enough grip that the phone won't slip out of your hand. It's very slim and adds the smallest amount of bulk to the device's profile, so while it does make the phone a little bit harder to hold for small hands, that's an issue you're going to face with any phone case. The camera lenses are protected because the case ensures they won't touch any surface you put the phone down on, and all the ports and buttons are easily accessible. Volume buttons produce a satisfying click so you know when you've pressed them, unlike other cases I've had where pressing the buttons felt like jelly. This is a great option for protecting your P30 - I'm definitely going to keep buying from Spigen in the future.

This phone case is amazing. Its not bulky. It keeps the shape of the phone. It has a solid protective aspect to it.The on/off button may be easy to distinguish from the volume, but these guys have done an amazing job by texturing the on/off button as either a grip or to easily recognise the on/off buttonOn the back of the case, you could be wondering why there is a random square of texture. However its not random, and not gonna lie it did take me a while to realize why it was there. Indeed, it is a very usefull tool as I've come to the realization its an extra grip for where your index finger lies. I could not be happier they had gone the extra mile with the designEverything else, the slots for the headphone, usb c, mic, etc.. Are all in the correct place.

Somehow I have managed to drop and throw my phone several times since I bought this. It has provided perfect protection so far and there isn't a single scratch any where on the screen or body.The worst case was when walking to my bike I swung my bag over my shoulder and the phone flew out of the unzipped pocket and landed about 20 feet away onto the tarmac, it bounced a couple of times and landed screen down, but there was still zero damage.
