Hypnotic Poison by Christian Dior for Women 3.4 oz Eau de Toilette Spray

I’ve worn Hypnotic Poison off/on for about 20 years, and while the scent seems to have been reformulated over the years (as many perfumes are, unfortunately) this is real and smells like the recent version of it. Also, I checked the batch code and it was verified as authentic and fresh. I purchased it directly from Amazon and I currently have no regrets! This is one of the most unique vanilla scents ever created. It smells a little like - root beer! It also smells like anise and vanilla with a bit of warm almond, jasmine and musk thrown in. It sounds strange but it’s delicious and intriguing! It’s one of my all-time favorite perfumes that both men and women love. It’s a great Fall/Winter scent, but I wear it year round. I’ve seen reviewers in the past that have mentioned this perfume as being their Halloween scent, and I can see why, as it has a certain sweet darkness to it. Give it a try if you haven’t!

This is one of my faves. It never gets old. I especially like to wear it in the colder months, then my floral ones in the warmer months. I also have received alot of compliments with this fragrance. I know everyone has their own preference. This one makes me happy every time I spray it on.

This is the BEST smelling perfume I have found. It is the only fragrance I wear. The scent "lingers" for days or even weeks. It's not over powering but yet it has a strong statement. I have been told that I can be smelled well after I leave a room or walk down a hallway at work, and not in a bad way. There are a few friends of mine who have discovered this amazing perfume since meeting me and they love and wear it also. I was leery about buying from amazon, but I am very pleased with my purchase. The perfume is authentic and it was very afford ably priced and delivered to my front door quickly.

This scent is timeless. It has just the right balance of muskiness and vanilla. I normally hate vanilla scents but not in this one because it's nicely balanced. The word "hypnotic" seems to conjure up "evening" perfume but I wear it any time.

Smells great

Absolutely beautiful and exactly what I was needing. I've always loved Poison, but this is my new favorite Poison.

I will rate this perfume a 5 because the product arrived quickly, was genuine and DOES smell good, but in reality I'd probably rate it a 4, only because it wears a little strangely with my body chemistry. It can be very cloying in warm weather, to the point where you feel kind of sick. It also occasionally smells very strongly like play-doh, although sometimes I only get vanilla/rootbeer scents from this perfume. I recommend this perfume for night-time and winter wear. It is surprisingly strong and long-lasting for an EDT. It is a nice, warm, spicy, creamy scent, but it is not for everyone. Avoid this perfume if you do not like vanilla.

Love it smell so good, is good price , good authenticity

I like when items come via FedEx because of their professionalism. The perfume is for gourmand lovers as myself. It lasts way longer than one of its dupe (sweet hope by la rive), I use the dupe to bed (lol), and HP edt when I'm going out.

Divino sublime insostituibile

Ein durch und durch weiblicher Duft, den aber keine pubertären, frechen Mädchen tragen können. Allenfalls die elegante Dame, die es mag in der Öffentlichkeit zu provozieren. Ein Duft, den man durchaus mit Stolz tragen sollte - seine vanillige Basis, wird geschmückt von einem unwiderstehlichen Geruch, den ich bei keinem anderen Parfüm jemals riechen konnte und welcher regelrecht unbeschreiblich wirkt. Wenn man sich den Duft aufsprüht, denkt man zu aller erst, ja gut, Vanille. Riecht man eine viertel Stunde später, fängt der Duft regelrecht an 'zu brennen'. Diese Vanillenote sollte aber keine "Vanillehasser" abschrecken, man muss diesen Duft riechen, um Vanille lieben zu lernen. (Ich persönlich bin auch kein allzu großer Vanillefan) Es entfalten sich urplötzlich alle Duftnoten des Parfüms und es ist eine Flut von Eindrücken, die der Duft entfaltet. Durch und durch positive. Er riecht sehr pudrig, wie bei fast allen Dior-Düften, aber keinenfalls unintensiv. Er hat als Eau de Toilette eine solche Duftintensität, dass man denken könnte, es handelt sich um ein eau de parfum, was der Duschtest bestätigt und man den Duft auch hiernach wahrnimmt. Er schmückt den Raum aus und ist ein "Hier bin ich" Parfüm. Ein charakteristisches Parfüm, er unterstreicht den Menschen. Nicht wie ein billiger Drogerieduft - er gibt einer Frau den nötigen Charakter. Alles in allem, kann ich als Parfümjunkie sagen, dass dieser Duft alle Düfte (für mich persönlich selbst ALIEN) in den Schatten stellt und eine Krone verdient hätte. NICHTS ANDERES MEHR. Zudem gibt es kaum Leute, die diesen Duft tragen, womit man stellenweise, noch etwas einzigartiges bleibt. Dieser Duft bietet aber keinerlei Vergleich zu Dior Poison. Dieser riecht nämlich einfach nur ekelhaft, nach allem, was man zusammen mischen konnte und Oma. Hypnotic Poison ist das komplette Gegenteil, feurig, süß, schwer und ein Charakter.
