Youth size it REALLY small.
This is built very well and extremely solid a really good backplate but make sure you get the adult size if your kid is any older than like 7 years old or so because the youth size is really small on my eight year old and he is pretty skinny. I give three stars because there was nothing stating it was that small.

I bought it for my son he's- 155lbs- 5'11" plays DE,OLB,RB. the most comfortable plate he's worn so far. The curved shape makes a a BIG difference.

Amazing overall but some Cons.
When I bought it i tried to fit it through the holes in my shoulder pads but the holes didn't line up so I Just had to make my own but overall it is one of the best back played I owned and it's comfortable. Can't wait to played this season with this back plate on.
