OtterBoxSYMMETRY SERIES Case for Galaxy S10e - Retail Packaging - TONIC VIOLET (WINTER BLOOM/LAVENDER MIST)

I am adding to/updating my review from before. I had a stack of laundry and other items I was trying to hustle up the stairs with, and my phone came dislodged from my pocket. I then watched in horror as it fell a good 4 ft, hard, face down and then flipped sideways & further scooted onto hardwood floors. I was almost afraid to look. By some miracle, it came through completely unscathed.Not sure why some folks are uncertain with the more slender design. I find it refreshing to have an Otterbox product without having to pack around a brick. The case offers protection in all the right places, and the back is designed as thick or equal to any other protective case. Every drop/accident is different, and depending on the impact, will affect your cases performance accordingly. I for one can report that my phone took a hard face plant and tumble onto the floor, and this case did its job in my case.

Nice case, great fit. Like the green color too. BUT, not worth the $50 I spent on it. No better build then one that goes for $8-12 on Amazon. Not all that protective against drops either. I recommend buying a cheaper one. Nothing special about the case, I should have looked at it in person before ordering it, shouldn't cost more then $20. Your paying for the Otterbox name on this one, big time!

Much slimmer than the commuter but still got the good rugged feel for protection. The ports are open for quicker access which I prefer over the closed commuter model. I ordered a couple spigen cases before settling with this one. I noticed the spigen cases (and some other ones) had a bridge for the power button/fingerprint sensor whereas the otterboxes do not. The open/no bridge makes the finger set on it easier with comfortable access. The bridges are usually tpu material which makes the bridge flimsy.One thing I did not like about this case was that the back part of the case is slightly slippery but I got used to it. The grippy side and the no bridge design overlooks that one flaw so I'll be keeping this case on for the time being.

First of all, this case is really cool. The gradient color and glitter really make the case stand out, but it's not obnoxious. The back is hard plastic and the sides are a thick tpu. The front is raised up a bit to form a lip around the screen so you can lay it flat and not have to worry about scratches. It's really durable and fits my S10e perfectly. I think it's sort of expensive, but it's made a lot better than my previous cheap case. I highly recommend it.

This is a great sturdy, thin case. I usually get Incipio cases for my phones and this is very similar to that style but probably more strong and durable. Also super cute!

Bought 2 of these cases for my son and I, here we are 3 months later and they have turned completely yellow, otterbox wants me to pay shipping and tax for a replacement. I've been buying their cases for years but never again. Their customer service and care sucks worst then trump! Both cases did the same thing

This is a nice strong durable hard protective case. It looks nice. The buttons work well. There is a nice cut out for the finger print reader. Ease to use the side finger print with this case compared to others. It is stronger than other cases in the market. It can take a drop. The back is crystal clear. Only thing I don't like about this case is that it is hard to put on and take off the phone. If you are never going to take your case off then get this case. This will protect your phone from drops on the road.

I love the look and feel of this case on my new phone! 😍 I didn't realize when I ordered it that it doesn't come with a screen protector like the otterbox that I used to have, but Ice grown to trust this brand so I'm willing to give it a shot! The case seems durable without being as bulky as I'm used to, so that's a plus as long as it still serves its purpose! I'll admit, I drop my phone quite a bit.🤦‍♀️ I'll update my review if my phone breaks....whenever I get a new phone! Lol!😂 I should be able to comment on the durability of this case soon. Update: I nade this review on 12/27/2019 and it's now 8/18/2020. I'm still using this case... I've had plenty of drops and still no broken phone! Woot-woot!!!

I was an early adopter of the Symmetry line and have loved it. Have had it for every model of Samsung since the S5. I got a S10e last week and didn't like the colour options so I went with this one. Well it is VERY hard to put on and take off which I don't like b/c I also always buy a Defender case as switch between the 2 depending on my activities. For example when I go camping I use the Defender. I did not like how the case is super smooth I get with clear it is hard to have a textured surface as it would defeat the purpose of the look but I prefer function over fashion. I received my Defender today and decided this one had to go back. The stick on the box says this is slimmer than previous Symmetry cases but I'm not sure that it was a smart move on the part of Otterbox as the "old" Symmetry seems slim enough.

This is the perfect balance between slim fit and protection. It's not as thin as a slip-on case but the protection is noticeably much better without being cumbersome.The rubber rim is firm. Buttons feel nice and responsive. While the plastic on the back is slippery, my hands are big enough to easily reach both sides (s10e isn't that big) so this is actually a positive. It also leaves a conveniently sized opening for the fingerprint reader instead of covering all around or over it.My only issue is with the deep groove between the rubber and plastic parts that can collect dust and pocket debris.

I have had Otterboxes since 2010 before they were cool. In 2014ish I started buying both Defender and Symmetry cases for my phones. I would change depending on the activity. I loved Symmetry for the fun colours and usually unique patterns. I have had ZERO issues with Symmetry in the past. But about a month after I got this case I dropped my phone on asphalt and the case got chewed up. This has NEVER happened before, my cases used to look great even after drops. I'm not sure if they changed the material when they moved to this slimmer thinner redesigned crap but I will being going back to my Defender permanently once I remember where I put it. Yes my phone was undamaged but the fact the case looks like a dog chewed it is not cool.

The colours are not as vibrant as they look in the picture but the glitter really shines when the light hits it. It's a smooth plastic so it does make the phone a little slippery. It fits my s10 well, but it was difficult to get in the case. I'm not sure how well it will hold up to dropping, it is just plastic. Originally when I saved this, it was around $50 but I bought it on sale for $27 and I feel like that is even a little pricey for a plastic case.

I've always had a black phone, I finally got the white/opal colored Samsung and wanted a clear case to show the color. I bought this case because I've always used otterbox in the past and they've been great protection, and this case was supposed to be non-yellowing. I've had it a month and the sides have yellowed and scratched quite a bit. The back seems to be fine though. Everything else about the case is great!
