Premier Housewares Cheese Plane with Soft Grip Handle, Stainless Steel, Black

I have had this cheese plane for a couple of months now and it is simply perfect. I cuts well, washes up nicely and stirdy, well made and not looking like it'll fall apart anytime soon. My only criticism is that the width of the blade is not as wide as my old one so some large blocks of cheese cannot be cut properly due to this.

This was initially a promising buy, a mid-price cheese slicer which actually made nice neat slices.Well, it was fun while it lasted, but less than a month later the knife turned blunt and the slices started coming out bulgy and thick.A good word to the seller - they immediately refunded without even wanting the old slicer back.

For value it's extremely good, however I also wanted to use it on veggies, and on both cheese and veggies I wouldn't say it was very sharp which was disappointing, veggies some broke up on cutting, so not a great success and the edges of cheese also broke off rather than cutting, I don't have other gadgets to compare it with so I can't rate it down as such, since I can't compare it, but in truth a sharp knife is way better but obviously slower. So rather disappointing really and after these discoveries I haven't used it again. You will have to make your own conclusions on this product.

This item did not work in the way I expected. It did not cut cheese successfully. It did not appear to be sharp enough. Using a knife would have produced better results.

This cuts quite a thick slice of cheese, so if you want thin slices this may not be for you. I managed to put it in a vice and squash the cutter so that it cuts a slightly thinner slice, more like 2 other cheese slicers that we own. Not hugely strong or robust.The most annoying thing about it is that when it has been in a dishwasher the handle holds water which slowly drains out over wherever it is put. Not brilliant but cheap. You pay for what you get!

Attrezzo da usare preferibilmente con formaggi morbidi morbidi. Ne possiedo un'altro che affetta tranquillamente i formaggi a media stagionatura mentre questo per il materiale molto leggero fatica a fare il suo "dovere"
