I've ordered black pipe from different sources to complete customer shelving requests but Brooklyn pipes are by far the best I have purchased. The finish is a dark charcoal grey that contrasts well with the stained wood shelves and does not require cleaning with mineral spirits and repainting like some other pipes do. The thread quality allows you to securely tighten the pipes without using pipe wrenches that would leave teeth marks that need repainting.

Made a Tv stand and came together better then I expected thanks to these. Warning though some of the threads are a little wide so if you tighten it at and angle it won't cross thread but it can set at an angle and make you miss you mark on ur measurements. I only wish there were like smaller packages so if you only needed like 2 or 3 you could order them in smaller packs.

We got this product to create pipe shelves in our living room and bathroom. They turned out beautiful. The product is great. You will have to heavily clean the product before use because anything that touches it will turn black. We cleaned with odorless mineral spirits and then dried really well before use.

This is a positive review for the Brooklyn pipes. They are well designed and built but please be aware they do come with an oily layer so please be aware. This is to prevent the pipes from rusting during storage.
