Driver's White Vinegar - 2 x 5L

Really good price. Not too strong smell - was quite surprised. Didn't realise how many uses it has. Well worth getting. Wouldn't recommend for large areas of weeds - more expensive than good weedkiller.

Over the last year I have found so many household uses for white vinegar that it was time to buy in bulk. Living in a hard water area, limescale is a constant battle and this stuff gives me sparkly taps and shower screen and de-clogs the washing machine beautifully. I find it more effective than any chemical-based limescale remover that I have ever tried.The most valuable use in my household is removing the smell from dog blankets (it really works when nothing else does!) and a cupfull of vinegar in the wash with my loose sofa covers reassures me there is no lingering doggy scent. It also works well as a laundry softener for towels.I have also used the vinegar to lift stains out of the carpet (worked like a dream in blackcurrant) and to treat marks on white clothing. In my experience there is no vinegar smell after laundering and while it takes a couple of hours to dissipate when used neat, I find this an acceptable price to pay for such effective cleaning power.The large container is difficult to handle when full, but I have decanted it into smaller bottles with the help of a funnel.In my opinion, the 5l bottles are superb value compared to buying smaller quantities at Wilko or online. I wouldn't be without white vinegar for cleaning now. Sometimes the old-fashioned solutions really are the best.

I use this to get rid of limescale- soaking paper towels in it and then wrapping around taps etc and leaving overnight and simply wipe off the limescale in the morning. Living in a hard water area this is a must have in my cleaning cupboard! The price for the amount is great and will last me ages.

I bought this product for use in the garden i.e. killing weeds. I have used it twice and while it stains the weed foliage it does not kill them. I shall have to research again and find a white vinegar which does kill weeds.

I brought this to use as a weed killer and it worked brilliantly I did mix it with salt and it killed the weeds within 2 days never to reappear again 👍👍
